They say that they are an investigation company doing work for Fort Bend County, Texas.  Chase Auto Finance Company is trying to repo a car and can't find the person (my X wife who I divorced 11 years ago).  Investigator would not give me his company name.  Apparently this company has to  certify that they looked for her before the county will file a Writ of Replevin to go get the car.

This investigation company was hired by Chase Auto Finance.

This number was left a friend's house in a different state on/about July 27th , the caller identified himself only as "Investigator Johnson". I must have used them as a reference when I purchased a vehicle in 2006. I answered a call on my home in Colorado on July 30th, the Caller ID showed "Schriever AFB 720-0000" (the area code 719 didn't show since it the same as my own). I called today and the number is no longer in service. He has also called and left a voice msg on my home phone from a Verizon Cell Number in Washington State (509-294-5470). That number is no longer in-service as of this date (08/11/2010). When I spoke with him on 07/30/2010, the threat of "Theft by Conversion" was used (it was used the following week on a voice msg left on my daughter's home phone). I eventually called the 866-652-0129 and found out the name of the company "General Investigation Unit". I still do not know where this company is located. Today I called this number and left a msg for "Investigator Johnson" that if he chose to contact me, my daughter, or any friends that he must provide me with a badge or employee number and address for legal service.


This is a very aggressive repo company hired by Chase Auto Finance.
