I have a Hawaii number and been getting calls from 866-395-7475 and a girl named "Koretta" gave me the number (866)672-3286 to call back. Saying she is with Alliance One. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she said she was on vacation. Then I asked for her supervisors name which was "Ms.Walker" I ask for a first name because she claims she is not allowed to give out the number.

I have been getting calls from this number numerous times a day.  I called them back and they said they were a financial institution, and they named my husband and some other strange woman's name, but wouldn't tell me why they were calling unless I gave them the last 4 digits of my husband's soc sec #.  I refused.  They refused to tell me anything more and said that they would take my number off their record.  There is no reason a debt collector would be calling me or my husband, so I don't know what this is all about.  It's fishy to me.

I have been getting calls from this 866-672-3286 number for the past few days at the same time each day. I called them back and they said they were calling from Alliance One and that they are a financial institution. I asked where they were located at and was told that they could not give me any information unless I gave them my social security number. Like that was going to happen. The same women answered the phone each day  I called back and today when I called them I could hear kids in the back ground.

There is no reason a debt collector should be calling me.

I get calls from this number daily - the calls are for the person who had the phone number before me. I have had this number for eleven months and I tell these people EVERY time to stop calling. They have not.

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either or remove from a list.

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.

Debt Collections do not fall under the DNC, they fall under the FDCPA laws.  You need to send them a cease & desist letter via US return receipt or certified mail to stop the calls.

They aren't leaving a message because they are limited to the number of times they can contact you daily. Leaving a message counts as contact, so they won't leave a message but call you half a dozen times a day, sometimes back to back calls from different numbers.

Since you seem to be so knowledgeable, please tell us what law limits the number of times they can call in a day?  Certainly not the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

no reason to call replies to Researcher
I have a target red card but NEVER used it so no need to call me and IF they are going to call it's called being courteous and LEAVE a message or get blocked and guess what I'm going to do.
