they call my husbands phone about twice a day, and he keeps telling them "this is not her phone" but yet they keep calling.  said they were an employment select place once.  but wont give any information.  have yet to call me or the house...

someone needs to start telling everyone who these darn telemarketers are-get an email or something and flood them with all kind of emails and get a phone number and call THEM at 7:00 in the morning

This is a collection agency. You owe creditors. Just learn to manage your finances better and you won't be called.

I get called from this number at least a dozen times a day..looking for my x wife..I give them all the forwarding numbers I have for her and they keep calling me back..I know it is a collection agency but they keep harassing the wrong person..go find my x

I get the call ... 8-10 times per week ... they are not looking for me .. but they will not accept the fact that they have a wrong number!!

Not everyone is in debt .. don't be so quick to criticize people!!!

Calls my cell once a day for annett. Wrong #. This is the first time

They keep calling us at home.  One time they left a message for my husband to return the call - he called back and they asked for his social security number, which he refused to give. We have excellent credit and minimum debt.  Why are they calling/harassing us?

The number belongs to Alliance One Collection Agency. They kept calling my 16 year old son's new cell number, so I called them back and told them they were in violation of the Telephone Consumers Protection Act (TCPA) for using an autodialer to contact a cell phone, especially since we don't have any accounts with them (they were calling for Capital One for some chick named Jamie). They swore they'd take his number off their database...we shall see...btw, just calling a cell phone using an autodialer is $500 per offence. You can sue, if you get their info...See the TCPA

Called us looking for my wife, saying they where a financial institute.  Would not answer any questions or let me talk to a supervisor.  We don't have a Capitol One account, never have.

This number has called my cell phone several times a day for the past 4 weeks.  No one is there if I answer.  At this point I just let it ring and they hang up after a few rings without leaving a message.

Calls to my house at least 3x a day for the last 2 months. Unidentified caller asks for person I don't know.  Told them to take me off their list.
Still get calls and just let the phone ring.  Never leave a message.

This number called my house so many times for the past 4 weeks. one time i answered the phone and the lady told me that she's working for Capitol One and she said that i own them couple thousand dollars, and she asked me to verify my SSN, date of birth, and home address. I told her i'm not going  give u my info, and i don't have a credit card with Capitol One.  Please take me off the list and don't ever call me again.  And they still call me again today.  So crazy.

I received a call from this number. It was some lady asking for Vicki. I told her no, I'm not Vicki - I'm Ashton....so she asked when Vicki will be available. I told her I had no idea who she was talking about, and she claims she will remove me from their call list and it will be active within 24 hours. This number calls me at least once a day during the work week. They never leave a voicemail, and this is the first time I've had the opportunity to answer it. I doubt it will stop, since she asked when Vicki will be available. Meh. I regret that I answered, as it lets them know they've reached an active/working number and they will continue to call back.

keeps calling my mom's house, but trying to reach my sister. Mom and sis have same first name, and they don't understand that the different last names means different people. won't call sister's number no matter how many times we give it.

You must work for one of these bottom feeders Leonardo. I have reported several collection agencies to my states Attorney General for harassment. They are the reason I call trace every unknown 800 number I receive at my home. And now here is the clincher, my wife and I have no reason to receive collection calls from anyone, all our bills are current. I received calls for my first wife, who I divorced 10 years ago and for several people I have never heard of. I try to be nice and inform them they have the wrong number and they don't listen. I told them they were violating the law. I notified them in writing, still no stopping the calls. Not until I complained to the FTC and my States Attorney General did the calls cease. Most of these debt collectors seem like the lowest and laziest form of bottom feeding scum. If they bothered doing a little internet research on the numbers they robo-dial they might realize they are harassing innocent people. That is how I find out who they are when the call me. Caller Id and the internet can spawn a wealth of information. Maybe if they were a honorable about there business practices and actually did a little honest work they would get results and not be so universally hated.

This number has been calling my cell repeatedly.  It is an automated message asking for somebody I've never heard of.  I have listened to it for over a minute and can't seem to get any information on the company or how to get my number off the list

I keep getting calls from this mumber as well. I just returned the call and it's Capital One.. I don't have credit with capital One, nor have I ever. What gives?
