- saki| 9 repliesIt looks like Teleperformance has a new number to contact Roger's Cable customers. I advised the lady over the phone that they have been calling 4 days in a row, twice a day this past week and that I am really annoyed. If they call again I am going to report them to the CRTC. Rogers does not realize that this contractual outsourcing to save a buck in the millions will impact their customer's satisfaction down the road.

- VZ| 1 replyA call every single day. Sick and tired of them!
- Call type: Telemarketer
- GMThey are calling me 3-4 times daily and there is no one or nothing on the other end. It's so annoying.
- PaulJust called me today, prolly cuz i cancelled my cable service with them.... I hate Rogers!
- Caller: Rogers
- MelanieThey keep calling me too, non-stop, and when I answer there is no one on the phone. When I leave work (I have my phone on silent because I am a teacher), I check my phone to find they have called me 2-3 times during the day. This started on Monday, the 12th.
- Nick| 1 replyThey keep calling my cellphone looking for a different person! I'm not even "with" Rogers! I've told them several times that they have the wrong number but do they care? NO!
- Caller: Rogers?
- Rogers hateraha..good to know..drop service and number with Rogers; good thing

- Remove yourself from this call # listI endured 5 calls from this # and these fools until one Sunday morning they ruined my one day to sleep in, via a British Columbia # no less this time...I called the 866 # back, waited for their bilingual general voicemail message to finish (about a minute), and was given the choice to press 1 for a return call or 2 to remove myself from their list. It takes about 31 days they say, so we shall see if they are of their word.

- PJI get calls every day from these people. DNCR only works if you have not ever had a business relationship with them. So if you have switched from Rogers to anyone else in the last year, they are still (for at least another 6 months) able to call you and hassle and harass you. Which is absurd. When you end a business relationship with a company it should be ended then and there. It's like they are imposing a separation period, or cool down period. I want this relationship over NOW!

- JeremyIf they do call concerning your cancellation of Rogers services, I suggest this one thing.
Inform them that you canceled the services because you are moving to a house that already has a Rogers subscription. Tell them that there's no point in having two Rogers services in one house. Then they'll stop bothering you.
This one phone call lasted about a minute, and the person was quite nice. This excuse was true in my case, though.- Caller: Teleperformance (on behalf of Rogers)

- Ablesmom| 7 repliesThanks to all of you who posted who this number is from, I called---finally, after several weeks of annoying blank messages waiting for me when I got home from work---and called Rogers and asked how to have it stopped. The very friendly lady to whom I spoke with informed me that there is a way...and I am passing it on to you.....sign in to your Rogers account ....click on My Rogers Profile....click on "Update Marketing Permissions"....(yep, keep looking, it IS there)....then click on all 4 tabs, one at a time; each one will have boxes you can click on to opt out of these nuisance marketing calls. Apparently it takes a few days to take affect....and they no longer have your permission to drive you foolish....as if they ever did. Also, it would be nice to know we actually 'gave' them permission to drive us crazy.....anyway, end of story...and nuisance calls.
Hope this helps!!!- Caller: Rogers Telemarketing

- Mike,Toronto| 2 repliesguys,It doesnt really matter you have Rogers or Bell, because all the numbers in Canada (and US i think) are bought out by the telemarketing [***] from US,Canada,India and some other countries. It`s just wasting time to explain em do not call.Better way is do not answer the calls at all.
- ALGot called 3 times today. I tried what Ablesmom suggested... hopefully it works!

Teleperformance had been calling me from above numbers year after year after year, but I am not bothered that much (as many of you are) because I have mytbb at the same time I switched to Robbers. Nonetheless, I did Ablesmom's suggestion. If it works I will be missing the good feeling (sadist? hardly! considering the misery Robbers put on you/us) I get when I see a telemarketer automatically sent to "virtual ring hell".- Caller: teleperformance

- Kim replies to NickI have the same problem. I have never been a customer of theirs and when I called Rogers to complain they told me that there is no way that they can do anything to take my number off their list because I'm not a customer. To make it worse they are calling on my business number.
I have asked to be put on Rogers do not call list last year and then the phone calls from this company started. I have asked to be put on their do not call list 3 times now. They stopped for about two months and then the calls started again. - MerrikateFrequent calls. Number CANNOT be blocked on call screen. Disgusting.

- Tia replies to AblesmomThanks for the info. I never realized they had this option and even though I had indicated DO NOT SOLICIT (and they had it listed) they still had all the other individual boxes unchecked resulting in them calling everyday, multiple times of day for weeks. I hate this company and resent that the CRTC limits the "competition" so we really do not have any choice and there is no fair competition to force them to improve.
- Rogers' Customer Repellent DepartmentSwitched to YAK phone service years ago but Rogers' Customer Repellent Department keeps calling me. This worked on a previous 800 they used to irritate me with. Looks like they have are using a new number so I will have to add it to the kill list...
This works on YAK + I hope it works for you.
