- Annette| 2 repliesSpoke with company regarding this cash loan account and they were marvelous in resolving the issue. Typicaly collection agencys are mean & nasty but this one was curteous and helped me out of a jam. I was actually completly surprised at how they professionaly spoke to me and didnt make me feel like a piece of trash. I have had some prior experiences with agencys and they did treat me poorly. I am a 65 yeard old woman and have seen it all, trust me. It seems to me that if all agencys handled people in the manner that this one did, life would be much easier!! I owed like $4500 from aloan I had taken out just before I retired. I told them that I didnt have all the money to payu this becuase I know longer was employed. They did offer me a lower amount to pay of $2600 WHICH I was able to pay and I am truly thankful that I was able to save some money on the debt I had incurred. I am a retired Legal Secretary who worked for a prestidgious law-firm for 25 years. I have dealt with collection agencys during my tenor and none of them handled the situation for our clients the way this company had dealt with me!! Again, it is nice to see that some businessess can make a unpleasant situation a pleasant one all in just the way they handle business!!! I promised the young lady I had spoken too that I would write a letter to her employer letting them know they have a valuable assett in her and that she should be commended. That being said I had also spoken with another gentlemen who was just asd pleasant!! Sometimes its nice to give compliments for a job well done and let one know especially in this world of unfortunate happenings!!!!!! HAVE A NICE DAY EVERONE!!! Annette

- Michelle| 1 replyI received a call from this company today SRS and Associtaes and I spoke with Andrew Stein who was super kind (suprisingly enough) and he helped me resolve an issue. orioginaly I received a call at my job (im an elementary schoolo teacher in RI) and was informed I had a message to return a call. I immediatley wondered what this could be in regards too. When I returned the call and a female transferred me to Mr. Stein I had a feeling it was a collection agency. I was expecting a beradement of a life-time as the ususal. I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness exuded from Mr. Stein and the genrosity he extended me in resolving this over due matter. I had forgotten all about it to be honest because my family moved and I had not received any notices for at least a year on this account. Anywho, Mr. Stein offered me a settlement, (which I found out meant I could pay less than I owed). Again pleasantly surprised I wound up saving about $756 on this issue. I went ahead and resolved it and it was again pleasant. In addition to that Mr. Stein gave me advice on clearing up some other issues that I have outstanding. I thought that he went above and beyond the call of duty here in assisting me and felt obligated to write soemthing about my experience. I wish all people who called others on the phone for somethign especially as inauspicious as a bill and behaved so professionaly and empatheticaly. Thansk for listening whoever is out there!!!

- Alice| 4 repliesI got a message from this number today! I had a similar experience to the above writers. I owed a cash loan from a previous employer that I forgot about. I called them and spoke with Holly Cohen who was pleasant, courteous in helping me resolve this issue. She explained my options and I chose the option best suited for me and resolved the issue without any problems. I asked her why it took so long to reach me because I was concerned that I hadnt been contacted in awhile for this issue and this was out of the blue. She explained that another company bought my account and than asked SRS and Associates (her company) to try to collect it for them. I told her that when I was contacted origanly by the creditor (Cash Call) they were rude, nasty and it was a breath of fresh air in speaking with her which is why I was paid it this time. I was actually alllowed to have my say and communicate without being interupted. Imagine, this was a collection agency and they were nicer than the actual people I owed money too. Its refreshing to see that some collection agencys act appropriatley and courteously even though it is an unpleasant matter.

- Elliot Spitzerino replies to Alice| 3 repliesIt is very obvious that the three posts above are all from employees of this collection agency. They try to hide their name and address from people that they are trying to get money from. I wouldn't pay them a nickel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Their address is:
Superior Recovery Services & Assoc. (SRS and Assoc.)
80 S. Main Rd.
Vineland, New Jersey 08360

Kelli & David Grieco (owners) - Elliot Spitzerino replies to Elliot SpitzerinoI forgot to add that they are in Suite 112 at the above address.
- Mr.Pig| 1 replyDon't waste your time with these folks unless you have the means to arrange a settlement. Just ignore them and send them a Cease and desist letter. If they don't leave you alone, you then have the right to take THEM to court.
- sorrento replies to Mr.PigBills collectors from collection agencies cannot do any of the following:
Call you repeatedly or contact you at an unreasonable time (the law presumes that before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. is unreasonable).
Place telephone calls to you without identifying themselves as bill collectors.
Contact you at work if your employer prohibits it.
Use obscene or profane language.
Use or threaten to use violence.
Claim you owe more than you do.
Claim to be attorneys if they're not.
Claim that you'll be imprisoned or your property will be seized.
Send you a paper that resembles a legal document.
Add unauthorized interest, fees, or charges.
Contact third parties, other than your attorney, a credit reporting bureau, or the original creditor, except for the limited purpose of finding information about your whereabouts (collectors can also contact your spouse, your parents if you are a minor, and your co-debtors unless you have asked them in writing to stop contacting you).
Call the FTC or sue a collection agency that breaks these laws. - PS| 1 replyI got the same call with a message from Paula Gold. They like using the term "don't want to see you get blind sided by a legal case". They try to sound like they are from an attorney's office but this last message I got you could hear the noise in the back ground (call center).
You can tell the first 3 comments were from employees.- Caller: SRS and Associates

- tired of hearing from themI had several messages left from this number and each time I tried to return the call in the evening no one answered. I finally got through not knowing who I was really calling other than a "Name" left on my machine. I have had this number for 12 years now and they are still calling looking for some person I've never heard of and that started back in 1998. I've tried to convince several different collection agencies that I don't know her and to quit calling but this one seems to be one that won't quit even though they tell you that your number will be removed and you won't hear from them again. I also found out that the name "Adam Salamin" left on my machine is not even a real person it's a machine. Good luck to anyone how starts getting calls from this collection company.

- Too Blessed to be Stressed| 4 repliesAfter a little research I find this is the same Agency trying many tactics. This time the message was so vague, "This is Adam Soloman, I am calling about the business you are conducting. Call 1-866-696-4188." What business???!!! I have no business, therefore, I concluded this call was a call to get money from me. Well, I called that # back and asked what type of agency/business is this, the person said "there are several businesses here, what's your? I told her this was not a legitimate business since you cannot give me info on your agency, etc. She was nasty and said well, "you don't have to give it to me but they're going to call you again". Let them call, I won't answer. My advice and my attorney's advice - If they are not straight forward with you and cannot follow-up with documentation, don't settle for what they can't prove or cannot provide documentation for. Most of time it's not legitimate.
- Bill Collector| 2 repliesSee, I love these boards. I work in the collections field. The way that some people who are in debt hide behind message boards to insult people is hysterical.
We don't call you and threaten to kill you.
We don't call you and curse at you.
We don't take out the payday loans and not pay them back.
We don't take out the credit cards and default.
We don't buy cars and default on the arrangements.
Somehow, we are the bad guys.
If you default on a legally binding contract and the client does have intent, some clients will actually sue you. Read your cardholder agreement. Read your loan agreement.
Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. - Bill Collecta replies to PSEver think that maybe the three comments are from real debtors that actually paid thier bills? The only debtors that have a grudge with bill collectors are the deadbeats that don't pay thier bills.
- Bill Collecta replies to Too Blessed to be Stressed| 3 repliesWhere should I start? When you call back an agency, you must provide your number so we know what your case is about. Sorry you don't like the way we handle incoming calls, we are just following FDCPA rules. And if you don't want to answer your phone, don't. But my advise is...address the issue, if not, it could very well come back to bite you in the long run. Many people assume that they don't have to pay their bills and nothing will happen to them if they don't. At the agency where I work, we do have an attorney, and many of our clients do sue debtors who don't pay thier bills as long as the account is within the statue of limitations. And as far as provinding documentation....if you work with us (ie: telling us the # we called) we are more than willing to provide you with all the information you want.
- Bill Collecta replies to Bill CollectorAmen to that. I am also in the collection fields, and for entertainment, I love reading these message boards. I get a kick out of the true deadbeats out there that seem to think we are the bad guys. They come up with these ideas that we are breaking all kinds of laws, when in actuallity, we are doing everything legally. Its interesting to see the amount of people out there that think they can borrow money from lenders and never pay it back...and don't think they are stealing! What is wrong with people??? I do however, love my job.
- KnowMyShytI AM IN THE COLLECTIONS BUSINESS ALSO!
If you get a call from 856-690-5763 or 866-696-4188 the messages that they leave on voicemails are illegal and they can be personally sued for this so I will see you in court, I have both documented voicemails both at home and work that you left and it is quite clear that you guys are not familar with the laws because you have broke several so I will see you in court, be prepared to pay.
IF ANYBODY FROM THESE NUMBERS HAS THREATNED YOU, LEFT A VOICEMAIL SAYING YOU WILL BE PROSECUTED, YOU CAN SUE THEM FILE A CLAIM WITH THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION AND BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU FIRST, THERE ARE ALSO ATTORNEYS THAT WILL TAKE YOUR CASE FOR FREE!
BE SURE TO KEEP A LOG OF ALL CALLS AND MESSAGES THAT THEY LEAVE AND IF YOU HAVE A WAY TO RECORD THEM DO IT!- Caller: RONALD GREENBURG

- Dont be niceDont be nice, screw these junk debt buyers and their holier than thou attitide. There is a reason these debts are sold for pennies on the dollar. That is because there is no valid proof of the debt or it is too old and cant be collected from anyone who knows SOL law. The collectors want to make you think there is nothing you can do and that you must pay this debt. The reality is there is nothing they can do to prove this debt and if you demand it they cant provide it. They want to make you feel guilty for not paying but will not accept your demands that they follow the law. It is simple preying of the innocent and naive. Dont fall for it!
