I just hang up every time, but have received 23 annoying calls in the last few weeks with this same message.  How do I stop them?

I am receiving them also and I think we need to report this unethical means to the Federal Trade Commission. Please do.
The name of the co is First Source Advantage. Third party calls and they wonder how identity theft happens here it is American CO TO CHEAP TO HIRE OUR PEOPLE AND GIVE OUR PEOPLE JOBS SO THEY OUTSOURCE PAYS a foreign country sells your information most importantly the FTC is not keeping its eyes on THE BIG THREE EXPERIAN, EQIFAX AND TRANSUNION. They don't help people they help companies by furnishing and refurbishing and reselling and reselling and giving jobs to other countries. Anyone that claims to have a business can get your information. I have experienced identity theft 4 times now., sued under fictitious forms of my name destroyed. I am 47 years old. Do you know what it is like to be destroyed? It affects and effects your mortgage, your credit, your job, your life. They really don't care. Make sure you have health insurance because it will destroy your health trying to resolve it no matter how healthy you are. Next time you can put the number in box and enter and pull up info.

A British voice keeps calling for a neighbor 8 times a day when I try to call it to ask to be removed under law and I block it says call unacceptable.Then hangs up. They are calling my fax line and others and it is going to now be reported and a violation of our Federal Law today I was told they didn't have to follow the law because there not in the United States as well as being cussed at by some jerk that was either high or why to much caffeine and I was emotionally abused for someone else.They said sure its your f***ing neighbor and I once again stated you have violated law and he laughed. He was like can you give me there information I said NO

Get a lawyer, 8 times a day even if it was for you is harassment and is illegal under the fair debt collection act.  Also law requires them to pay your attornies fees.  A lot of them will also make you pay nothing if you lose for any reason too.

First Source Advantage, LLC - They call me every few days - I call back and all you get is very muffled music - I have never spoken to a real person - I won't answer their calls again and will ignore since they are some type of scan - says debt collection but since I can't talk to anyone no way of following up - has not shown up on my credit report nor have I received anything from First Source Advantage, LLC in the mail.  Other research shows that they are connected to Capital One.  I do have a CO credit card but I am not behind nor have I been so as far as I'm concerned it's still fradulent.    When the message comes in on my phone, it says they are calling from 503-928-8245 which is an Oregon number, but the message says to call them at their 866-697-4096 number.  When I called the 503 number it is just music.

First Source Advantage - a real scumbag debt collection agency.  Here is a list of known numbers you should block/ignore.  A British sounding robo-call from 805-256-7329 and Mary Poppins then asked that I call her back 866-697-4096.

these phone calls have been enoying me since april 7/2014  i do not answer but need to do something what can be done and who is this calling

We keep getting calls from this number. We don't have any outstanding debt and are on the DNC, but we still get calls from this caller constantly. We've had the same phone number for over a decade, so I can't figure out what these people want.

buy a call blocker from amazon it blocks all 800 numbers and the ones they change them to you hit the red button on the blocker. and the best part it connects very easy just plug into and telephone line. i used to get hundreds of calls a day, now i have the blocker and im bored no calls lmao

Another unwanted call from this particular number. First call was on 3/20/2017 at 11:00 AM and appear as unavailable 866-697-4096 on my CID.
Today it appeared on my CID as 18666974096 (866) 697-4096
and as usual, no VM was left on either occasion.  Since no VM was left, the call wasn't important to begin with.
I don't answer my phone from #'s that i don't reconize regardless who is calling.
I won't call the number back to find out why they are calling in the first place, thats what the answering machine is for.

They call everyday around 9am. Never leave a message.  Block number.

They gave you their toll free call back number.   This is standard business practice, you will not be charged for the call.  You have rights as far as debt collection read the FDCPA.

answer the phone and then you will know who it is and why they are calling you.  Debt collectors will continuously call you

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.

If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.

If they are bothering you, report them:

Note that the US Supreme Court in the Case of HENSON ET AL. v. SANTANDER CONSUMER USA INC., has recently ruled that the provisions of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act do not apply if the creditor owns the debt in question.  As a practical matter this probably won't effect the kinds of scam debt collectors who often show up on 800notes.  The scam collectors don't give you any information about themselves so it is impossible to know whether or not they in fact "own" the debt in question.  Most do not send debt validation letters and many often say they are collecting for someone else.  So, make the complaint anyway if they are bothering you.  Let the FTC sort it out.

Also contact your local attorney general

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.  Tell 'em  no scammy debt collector is going to push you around.

You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking).   the only thing they understand.
