Called the number back and it's for National Recovery Services....not sure what that is.

NRS is a national debt collection company specializin in delinquent payday loans.

Hi, NEVER answer this number, it is a SCAM.  If you get a call from 866-714-7470, and you answer it or goes to VM, it says to call 866-714-7368.  866-714-7470 is a Verizon Meet Me Conference number for teleconferences bridging of many folks!  This is a fancier SCAM.  I had a payday loan from like over 3 to 4 years ago and the Company wrote it off as uncollectable.  NRS buys these type of lists and threatens U with stuff to pay so both original payday loan gets some of it plus NRS.  I would imagine the caller gets a Commission also!

Get calls all day at work and at home. Even calling my relatives. Most recenlty they said they were the IRS and my 2013 Tax filing number has been effected to call them before 8pm EST. I have called back several times and never get anywhere either the phone just rings and rings or when someone answeres you hear alot of chattter like a call center. I have never had any kind of payday loan. I believe this to be a scam. Not sure how to get them to quit calling. I have actually changed my number but some how they still get it even though its unpublished.

National Recovery sevices. Safari mom hit the nail on the head. It's a joke. I never received any loan and have proved these people wrong time and time again

Oh, and btw. They threatened my tax filing number long after I had already received my refund from both federal and state. Scam, don't lose any sleep over these low life people

Same with me, this has been going on for years now, its getting very annoying, some how they got my moms number to and now call her! they also told me about my tax filing number but i have also received my refund. these people need to be stopped!

I got a call from a person to summon me and the number they gave to look up the case was the nrs #
They have alot if my personal info and even emailed a collection notice?
Is this forsure a scam?
