keeps calling my work number, making threats, refused to say where they are calling from. This rude lady said her name is Sandra, said she will continue to call even after I asked her politely to stop calling me at work, she is very annoying, she also told me that I will be arrested if I did not provide her with my ATM card information. lol she is [***], my 10 yr. old knows better than to give out private info over the phone. I told this crazy [***] that i will file a complain with the FTC, she said she did not care.

These people keep calling my work, my Boss, her Boss and so on. They harrass everyone. My husband called them and they will only say that they need to be paid 900 or im going to jail. He said to send him something in paper in the mail, then they ask him for our address, he said well you should have it, and didnt give it. Its a scam...Never heard of the company or anything......

Same as my mother I think this [***] is a scam if you ask me!

I just got a call this morning from a guy who says he needs to verify my address and serve me papers today. I asked him for what and he says I have to call the company. Also says if I don't call the company he will deliver the papers at my place of employment and residence and I won't know my charges until I appear in court. I asked for his number and he said he can't get incoming calls. I said well here you can have my address at at home and cell number and do not call work. He just left my manager a message. That is ridiculous and against the law to present papers at work anyway. If you won't tell me anything then I won't tell you anything!!!

hacker scam stole my ssn and try to get my money

Repeated calls to my husband's number even after requesting they stop. I have a recording of their calls, very rude and threatening. Now they have begun to call my number and I have requested they stop. Not a novice at this so I know they aren't alloed to call repeatedy. They identified themselves as Global.

They are a collection agency. They are going to claim they didn't call you, that their "locator" service did, that way they get around the Federal Harassment Law. Do not let them intimidate you! If they tell you what the debt is then investigate it for yourself.If it is an old debt 6 years or more check with your state laws, because in most states that old debt CAN NOT be collected. They are NOT allowed to all you at work particularly when they know your job prohibits calls during work. Send them a registered or certified letter stating they are not to call you at work or at home per your request. I hope this is helpful!

Got a call from a local number on my work phone yesterday from a guy saying he was a private locator. Said he would be serving me papers at my work & if I wanted them delivered to my home I'd have to call Global at 866-728-5703 to have them change it and to get more information and that he had two or three people ahead of me. I called Global and told them per my attorney that I wanted everything in writing and that I would be documenting and recording their call. The woman told me she did not give me permission and hung up. And no one ever arrived at my job amazingly enough. I called my lawyer to report the call and they laughed and said no one would ever call to make arrangements to meet you at your job to deliver papers.

Later in the afternoon, I received 7 calls in a row between 3:38 to 3:42 from another local number and after being burned, didn't answer the calls. Finally, on the 7th call they left a message. Similar message that they had important legal papers on their desk and that it was urgent I call them to resolve the issue. I saved the message to turn over to my attorney and also saved images of the 7 calls in my caller ID.

I did have a loan a couple of years ago with MyIncomeScience, but be warned that their company is probably not licensed in your state which means that it probably wasn't legal for them to give you the loan to begin with. I had already sent them a letter indicating such. Plus, I had already paid a ton of money in interest just trying to pay off the loan before I got where I couldn't pay any more.

I'm sick of these vultures and am ready to fight back.

Added: This last number that called came from 832-769-4719 and came to my cell phone this time.

I received a call from them at work and told them I could not accept these types of calls at my work number...they called me back 11 times in 10 minutes...then they called my supervisor and he told them the same thing...they then called my HR department. Each time they told us I owed money and if I did not pay I was going to jail. They would not give me any information about who I owed the money to or what the charges against me were...I asked for written proof of the debt and they refused. I contacted the Michigan Attorney Generals Office and they were pretty sure it's a scam...I filed a complaint with them as well as the FTC...I urge all of you to do the same this is the only way we will stop this.

I just took a call from these folks "Locator Service People" wouldn't give me any information just kept saying they would like to confirm the address where to serve me papers. Of course I wouldn't know what my charges were until I appeared in court. Who do these fools think they are? You can't just present people with papers and not tell them what they are for!!! And I don't know which century these people are living in (nor which country) but there is no such thing as Debtors Prison anymore. These people really piss me off. They call my family and harrass them even after they have been told to stop calling. All I can say to these folks is this "Good Luck serving me anything cuz the company I work for has several locations and they won't give out anything in regards to the employees and neither will they except anything trying to be served unless it is from the Sherriff Department or Police Department. And as far as serving me at home, don't have to answer the door to people I don't know and aren't expecting." These people are such vultures. I am going to start keeping track of all of their calls and what they say as I might just file a suit against them for failure to follow the Fair Debt Collection Act.

I just received a call from a local number stating that "Global Firms" was suing me and that the person "Gina Wells) needed to serve me some papers. While asking for my address and if I worked.  The lady gave me Global's telephone number and claim number, but when I called they never answered.

you might want to get a hold /contact diane mey because this sounds like it might be the same comany she is going after after they absued her and she won 10 million dollars - shes still trying to collect by the way

Same thing here. Local call, locator service, call this # regarding this #, charges against me, serving me papers, Global collecting on a dept....etc.
I don't know much about the legal process but I do know papers are served by licensed process servers not a locator service and they don't call you first. This is a scare tactic plain and simple!
I called the # this locator gave me, which turned out to be "Global". They told me they are collecting on a dept from Everest Cash Advance. After doing some homework I found out there was a judgement against Everest that made all advance loans made to residence of CA void and cannot be collected on.
Find out your rights, explore the laws of your states and do not pay these jerks a dime!

This company is just a third party debt collector that buys up old debt.  Has anyone received a call from this John Davis (The Private Locator)?

This company has called my place of business 8 times in one day call and hang up finally they left a message called them back and they said I have an account with them which I do not somehow they got my old address and is saying I had an account with a company called Loan Points and I never did. They also called me again the next day at 7:00 AM at my place of business as well as my cell and I know that a collection company is not supposed to call you before 9:00 AM
