They phoned at 2:29 PM on 6/2/10 (today). All the ID read was TOLL FREE CALL. No message was left. A search of the internet has not been successful this time, so no clue who this is. Over the last few months, apparently the DO NOT CALL list has not been working, as we have received endless junk calls.

Got a message from this number today. It is the number for Americans for Prosperity, whoever they are. I deleted the message. Don't know if it is a right or left wing group. I called the regional office to tell them to remove my name from their list. HA! look them up: http://www.americansforprosperity.org/contact-us

My home phone number is on the Do Not Call list, and not one of my preferred left-wing organizations has ever abused my right to remain undisturbed in the sanctity of my home.  The frequency of your calls is as annoying as your lack of left messages identifying who you are.  I am all for prosperity, but not in the spirit with which you hope to achieve that means.

Remove my phone number from your list, and never call my home again. A copy of this email is being sent to the FCC.

rec'd call 6-7-11 about 5pm CDT-garbled message was left -something about gas - could not understand the man. We are on DNC list, but apparently this # is exempt.

Just got a call from this number and the caller ID says UNAVAILABLE. Jennifer Destefano left a message to say she wants me to call Frank Rizzo and tell him not to vote for the soda tax in Philly! She works for Americans for Prosperity. Funny thing is.. I don't live in Philly and I hate soda. So why did she call me?
What kind of prosperity do I get in having these people stop calling my house and harrasing me on my home phone when its on the Do not call list!

I just called this number because they have been calling us without leaving a message. I made a request to be taken off their calling list because I work night shift 3-4x a week and their calls wake me up when I'm sleeping on the daytime. The lady said their company is, American Prosperity. Our number is on the Do Not Call List and I am hoping that this will be respected. Thanks!

They called at 6:10pm on a Saturday. No message was left on my answering machine.

Called the number back on a Sunday and a voice message came on saying I had reached Americans For Prosperity. Gave a few options for reaching a certain extension, they said I could press 0 to leave a message in the general mailbox.

The Koch Brothers are the poster boys for GREED in America.  I have recieved unwanted calls the last two evenings from their Right wing Americans For Prosperity group.

Got a call from this ph# 1-866-730-0150 on Sat 05 Nov at 1:46pm. No message. Id is Unavailable. Glad I didn't answer, sounds like AFP. Not that I have anything against them, but I don't want the hassle. Saturdays seem to be the day when these pests come out to bug the people. 4 calls from various other Unavailable #'s so far and it's not 2pm.

Americans for prosperity are a right wing organization heavily funded by the Koch Brothers.  If you don't know who they are try to get your hands on a documentary movie titled "Koch Brothers Exposed".  It's very enlightening.  You can buy it on Amazon.  Actually AFP's only concern is prosperity for the filthy rich.

They're a right-wing hate group. They may be funded by the Koch brothers.

Just so everyone knows, political organizations are exempt from the Do Not Call list until you tell them to stop calling. Here's the scoop right from the government's Do Not Call website:

"Even if your number is registered, charities, political organizations, and telephone surveyors may continue to call you. Companies with which you do business may also continue to call, unless you have asked them to stop calling you. If you have asked them to stop calling, please keep a record of the date you made the request and include that information in the comment section of any complaint you submit against that company. Find out who your state's director is and call them at home.  See how they like getting harassing phone calls.

Americans For Prosperity, Koch-Founded Group, Plans $25 Million Ad Campaign

NEW YORK — An independent group supporting Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney says it's launching a multimillion-dollar advertising campaign in several general election battleground states.

People familiar with the plans say Americans for Prosperity plans to spend about $25 million on the ads beginning next week and running into early September. The ads will run in Colorado, Florida, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin.

Americans for Prosperity was founded by David and Charles Koch (kohk), billionaire brothers who have contributed generously to Republican causes and candidates over the years. The group already has spent about $15 million in swing states this year on ads attacking President Barack Obama.
