Trying to sell checks for new bank accounts.

Harland Clarke.  I opened a new business account at Regions... Giving my home phone number, and these people will not stop calling.  One time the caller i d said Harland Clarke, so I thought perhaps I was having an issue with an order...  The fellow said no, he was checking if I needed more business supplies.  I requested to be removed from these automated calls... Then today, yet another call.   I have been on hold yet again to request for them to stop, but after 10 minutes hung up.  Shame on you Harland Clarke.  I have reported this to my bank, Regions, as an invasion of my privacy.  My banker is wonderful and was appalled.  

Calling to sell checks to us after we opened a bank account with BBVA Compass Bank.

I was skeptic. They called then the call dropped.  I called back and it asked for your routing and account number to locate your file. A rep came on and didn't have any of my info.  Seemed weird. I called my banker and he said they were legit.

I would have an immense problem with any company cold calling me about checks and requesting my account number and the bank routing number.  Every time I have ever gotten checks, the bank took care of the order.  Now.  It seems this company does marketing as well as other things.  Why do they not have a physical location on their web page?  http://www.harlandclarke.com/main/contact/contactus

So the bottom line is that I would be very wary of anyone cold calling me to sell me checks and would advise anyone to simply order them direct through your bank.

Sound like scam to me

They called and left a voicemail to order checks for my new business account. I gave them routing number and account number. I decided maybe I better check it out and make sure they are legit. I also called my bank, but was unable to speak to my banker oh, and I believe she already ordered me new checks when we opened the account.

The caller sounded drunk.
