dave reynolds - 11 Feb 2008USAA called to say that I had used my card and then left a number for me to call. When I returned the call they wanted my ssn and card number. I refused and called USAA and let them know. They have no record of this call to me and the number I was given is not a USAA number.

JT - 28 Apr 2008I received a call that told me I needed to call this number to verify charges on my account through US Bank. It was shadey, so I called US Bank directly and they verified the number and forwarded me directly. It seemed a lot safer this way as I didn't have to supply much personal info.

Lars - 18 Jul 2008Got this same message today. I called my bank (US Bank) using a different number & they verified this is one of their freaud security numbers.
