Harassing claiming i owe money and they have an address to serve me if i do not pay over the phine. Very unprofessional. Scam

I just received a threatening phone message from 866 743-9836 stating I have one day to respond or I will be served.  Caller said at the end of the message that I can consider myself NOTIFIED...scam?

Sure it is, wouldn't be receiving forewarned threats if it was real. Without an answering machine and answer, who can these clowns threaten? A ringing phone? Call back and ask what they're serving you, dinner, tea, etc.,.

Caller left a voicemail on my husbands phone and said its a formal compliant and that he only has one chance to call back. Bunch of bull! Sounds like a scam.

Yes, I got another threatening call this morning from this guy Jack Jones...lol...phony name.  He is now calling from a NO Caller ID # and I can't even block it!  Irritated and sick of these people!!

This guy David Bauer calling from 660-956-0766 has been calling my husband almoat every day saying he has one day to call 866-743-9836 or he was going to serve Him at are home or his job. Googled the number and I found the number 866 743 9836 is from laurel tree aprtment homes in Salinas. CA..

I owed a payday loan from 2012 in another state that I didn't remember owing until I went to the same company in my current city to apply for another loan to help with my son's daycare expense. They retained my current employer, bank info and personal info and updated my old info in their system. Within 4 days, I started getting calls from a local phone number where I live and the threatening voice of someone names Dave is saying 'I have one day to pay or else they are going to serve me at my job'. When I call the man back, there is nothing but static and then a beep for the voicemail. So I call the number he leaves on my voicemail for me to call and it is 866-743-9836 to some place called Central Mediation Service. Of course, they are now threatening to collect or garnish my wages. Not sure how valid this attempt to collect is or not.

Called saying I was about to miss a court date and that he was going to show up at my work to serve me papers. Called repeatedly on my cell, then called my work number. I just recently started this job and have not given that information out to anyone. It's a big scam and so annoying!

Called my mother and left a message on her answering machine. Said his name was Jack Jones (sounds fake) and it was in regards to my fall claim. He just got it on his desk today and I had to call him back today or I would be served.

It sounds very fishy to me that he would call my mother and not me.

Jack Jones has been calling from an unknown number to myself, my boyfriend, and my parents.  He says I have one chance to get back to him or I will be served.  He's left that same message three days in a row, so I'm assuming he's full of it, otherwise he would have served me already.  I don't know if I should call him back or what...

Don't bother. This is an extortion scam and "Jack Jones" is violating the law by impersonating an officer. Here is what a REAL process server has to see about this:

An actual Process Server is not going to have any conversation with you about any debt you owe, nor will they demand payment from you. If something like this happens, immediately call local law enforcement and make a full report including as much descriptive information as you can give them of the person impersonating a court officer.

A few calls. This one tonight was from Jack Jones for a Willie or William Paterson regarding a claim. He said to call him back at (866) 743-9836 on claom ID #7047. I the end of message Jack Jones said that I was notified.  I called the number and out was not in service. So I think it's a scam.  I never answer a private phone number.

Just got a call today from a guy asking for a family member stating the family member would be served.. I asked the guy who is calling and he hung up on me

Got a call from saying I was about to be served paperwork because I was being sued and that he had a phone number, 866-737-6844, and a claim number for me to use. Called the number and they wanted me to pay for a loan I had never taken out with my debit card over the phone or I would be taken to court. FRAUD!

I received a message telling me to call this 866 number immediately, gentlemen said to consider myself 'notified'.  I called back but got a generic voicemail so left a message.  He even called my parents and my oldest daughter, told them something about him trying to serve me.  Not sure if this is a scam or not, I did call back so I will see if he calls again.  I do know that I will never pay anything over the phone plus a court server never calls you, they just show up and serve you.
