- DLP| 11 repliesWe were called by this person, a female, who is claiming to be a service for the hearing impaired or people hard of hearing and she claimed she was relaying the customer's conversation to me. They wanted to know if we print labels and to give them our email so that they could send us a quote for labels.... And of course these are being shipped to somewhere in Africa, and we get an email from a "revrend" every time. They are abusing the church to try and steal from businesses. Don't fall for it. They will try and tell you that you ship them the labels using their freight company, you'll have to pre-pay and send the labels and you will be out money and labels. These filthy crooks need to be stopped. It may even be the woman calling that is the scammer! Stop these dirty roaches!
- Caller: SOMETHING FOR THE HEARING IMPAIRED
- Jail| 5 repliesMany inmates know of the mandated services provided by these types of callers. Thus you will get calls from agencies who are supposed to provide calls to hearing impaired or other impaired people. In reality these calls are coming from inmates in your local prison. Dont answer them!!
Or they are a bigger scam from Africa. Either way you should never answer these calls and report them to all govt agencies...FTC,FCC and your state AG. Sue them if they are in the US but if not complain and let the govt take care of them...if enough complaints are filed they will do something. - N/A| 6 repliesI received a call from this number 8/14/08 at 9:44pm (for standard poodle puppies) I had advertised in my local paper here in Maine, and would I please email her client with further information on the puppies. Our email conversation left me feeling uncomfortable about their intentions. They asked for personal identification information (so the check wouldn't get into the wrong hands) so they could send me a check for the puppy. Their freight company would deliver the puppy to them. I replied that I did not ship puppies, and wished them luck in their search. I felt uncomfortable enough to search the number.
- DT| 7 repliesI received a call from this number at 1:30am requesting I email them info regarding the puppy I have for sale. I don't have any puppies for sale.
- Caller: optonline
- p'odI am so mad! we r selling puppies and I just got a call from this lady! thank God I asked 'her' for the supposed guy's email...calvin or cole. I keep getting errors from my attempt to email them!

Run psycho run!- Caller: thorensen relay or something
- kathy marshall replies to Jail| 4 replieseverytime I list my puppies for sale on the internet, I get these relay calls, wanting to buy my pups, with the check that is always for more than the pup. I tell them I don't do this, but lately, I just tell the operator, I do not take relay calls. Its a total scam, don't fall for it, wish I knew who to report them to
- ordersjp replies to DLPI received 4 phone calls from a relayed phone call. They said it was from an impaired person. The person was asking if the furniture was still for sale. By the message they left, I can tell it is a scam. The person I am suppose to email is Harry Crawford with the email address of hctups@gmail.com.
I called the relay company and they would not give me any info - N/A| 1 replyPlease be aware, there is a valid service that calls from this phone number that provides relay calls for the hearing impaired. It sounds like a deaf or hearing impaired person is trying to buy a puppy. Obviously if you are uncomfortable, don't talk to them. But it is a valid service for relay calls. Just FYI.

- Lemmons replies to kathy marshall| 1 replyI did not list my puppies on the internet. I listed them in a local paper, and I got a message from someone at this #. Can you give me more details on how it is a scam? They asked me to email them more info about my puppy. I have not done this in fear after reading many of the post notes on this phone#.
- precious paws of texasYes, I sell chihuahua puppies, but only advertise on the internet and my new website. A man going by the name "Aaron Anderson" had called my phone, from 866-747-7352 on 8/23/08 @ 8:45 AM. He left a message asking me to email him the details about my puppies. The message kept cutting in and out. I never bothered to email or call him back. I am glad I looked up this number. Kinda creepy, but it happens a lot now.
- heyI just got a call tonight of someone wanting to buy pups and I emailed them information about what I had for sale, now I feel really stupid. I didn't think people would take advantage of a situation like this.

BUT also be on you toes and aware of scammers or even prank calls from your friends, which is what I got tonight. It was awful. I feel so bad for the people who have to do this sometimes...it's sad what some people will do
- Kijiji| 6 repliesLegitimate company used by flim flam scam artists.
- DontCallMeAgain replies to KijijiI just received this call through my business, at 9:10pm. I have spoken through relay services before and this guy did NOT sound like a relay service. They always know just what to say and are very professional - this guy said "hold on" and sounded like he just set the phone down, I heard people talking and noises in the background.. then he picked the phone back up and said "hmm... looks like the caller hung up" and he hung up. I had weird vibes about it so I looked up the # online and found this forum. VERY WEIRD!
Pretty sad that they use a serious service like this to scam people. - beware of the puppy scam replies to DLPI just got another one of these relayed phone calls about the puppies we advertised in our local newspaper. As in the other complaints the caller requested that we email the price and payment details to pkerry@hotmail.com. I asked what the caller was interested in, male/female and what color, but the e mail info just kept being repeated. When I asked for the caller to identify if he/she was local I was told the caller had hung up. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!
- ejcI just got a phone call from the same number! I am at work, in front of computer. So when the phone rang, I googled this phone number instead of answering. And found this website.
I am not selling puppies on line, but today I posted an ad on local website for "looking for a babysitter"! - puppies for sale in the newspaperThis is my second call from this number about the puppies I had for sale in the newspaper. Is there anything that we can do about it.I think these people need to be stopped. The email address they gave me was dannypez@yahoo.com
