but it is NCO Collection (1-866-750-6108).

I called back and they have caller ID and knew who was calling them back.
I yelled at them to tell me who they were and after yelling at them 3x they gave me their website. I said what are you a collection agency and they said that is one of their functions.  Typical technique.

I to had a call from them at 8 am thd message was. "Hi ________ its Steve calling if u can give me a Call back at 866-750-6108 and reference number __________" not to hard to figure out what they want. I wish u could.report them, they are one of the worst telephone harrasment service there is. People owe.money everywhere calling 20 times to remind them is ridiculous

Got a call today (Saturday) at 8am. Recorded message to call them back to discuss an "important matter".

Got a call from them today. Their call center is located in Brantford, Ontario. Not Sure what I owe tho, My bills are all up to date. :/

I got a Phone call from Debbie Mcdonald she would not say what she wanted and she said i can't say nothing to you. like What i am his WIFE if you want the call passed on then you TELL me Captial One We do not owe you nothing i have changed my number f- 3 times that is 300$ damn if people would jsut leave up the hell alone.!!!!! ya calls start at 7am people do sleep i am so mad i could spit nails.

This person can't locate me, so they are calling a family members home at 5:20 am.  A family member tells them that I don't live there, and they keep phoning them at crazy hours of the morning.  They ask for information to pass on a message and they hang up on them.  What kind of Business treats people like this, and doesn't listen to the person answering the phone.

i have had multiple reps calling a family members home harrassing them to relay this message to me... and one rep who refused to give any information but her name Debbie macdonald... if u tell them to take u off the calling list and then they still continue to call and harrass u afterwards...it is illegal for them to do so... by law, they could be charged if u bring this to a lawyers attention.

I keep receiving calls at all hours of the morning AND night, as well as messages left on my answering machine, They keep asking for someone who I don`t even know, when I tell them that no such person lives here.....They act like they don`t believe me and ask me to pass a message along. I am very ill and I am trying to get my health back so I don`t really want nor need people harassing me!!! First they told me it was NCO Financial, now someone by the name of Jessica called tonight and told me she was from NCL Financial but gave me the same number that NCO leaves on my answering machine.

Did anyone get a letter from these people? I got a letter saying I have an unpaid debt, but all of my debts have been paid in full! When I called them, they had an old address on file, but it was government of canada letterhead which had my current address and sin number on it. What's going on? Are they legit? Did I forget a debt from five years ago?

They call because you or someone they're looking for has a debt and owes money.  

Easy way to get them to stop the calls.  Tell them no one by the person's name lives at that address, or simply shout at them and tell them to stop the calls or you'll have your lawyers call them the next time they dare call again ;)

This is a debt collector - NCOF FINANCIAL. They often collect debts for the provincial and federal government here in Ontario. They call at all hours, multiple times a day. They even started calling me at my work and even called my office manager trying to contact me!! I told them numerous times to stop calling me at work or I'll lose my job and then they'll never get.whatever money they're looking for!! Lol. NCO FINANCIAL is ruthless! I was.a couple of days latemail making my monthly payment due to a holiday andthey left me a nasty message saying that cuz I missed the payment date that they now want the full debt paid in full immediately! All this [***] over A whole $800!! I'm a single mother with a disabled child and do my best.to pay every.month, bup apparently they don't care and whatever payments they do get is never good enough!!  I'm so fed up with these [***] harassing me, my family, and my work colleagues too!! There are privacy laws and harassment laws that they just don't give a [***] about!! Like I said, ruthless!!!

This is  NCO Financial, a collection agency that is very annoyingly persistent with their phone calls that it's borderline harassment!! They call at all hours, all week, even on holidays like.easter and new years!! They've.called my home, cell, work - they've.even called family members and my office manager trying to contact me while I was out of town for 2 weeks!!  I'm quite upset that now my manager and a few other.work colleagues they've also contacted.by phone now know about my personal financial struggles thanks to NCO which I'm definitely NOT effing happy about!!! Hello - there's privacy laws that are certainly not being respected by NCO financial!! I don't even know how they got my boss's and my family members contact info!!!!?? All this insanity even though I make monthly payments above.the minimum amount they asked for!! I only owe.about $850 left on my Ontario student loan, interest is.through the roof, I'm also a single mother with one.child and no family to assist in anyway! NCO financial is.fully aware of my situation, and.really have.zero sympathy or understanding!!

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

they phone at least 10 times a day over 400 hundred dollar fine from 30 years ago. 7 days a week early in the morning vtill 7 in evening and let the phone ring at least 15 times neighbors complain about this. and rude as ever
