Phone rang twice. When I answered, no one was there.

I missed the call, they left no message.

they called me, I missed the call, when I dialed it back, it said
"thank you for calling, the nest representative will be with you shortly"
then I was on hold for like 4 min so I hung up.

I got a call from this phone number.  There was a couple seconds of silence.  I answere hello again.  The person said may I speak to the owner of the business.  I said "who are you looking for".  He said may I speak to the owner of the business w/ <SECRETE> Bank.  I said yes, you are speaking with him.  Then he hung up on me?  A fish attempt?

They called, was from Compass Bank asking to see if my accounts were OK. If I had any questions to call them. That was the voicemail they left for me.

Junk call... nobody spoke.

Cold calling business to set appointments for the local Branch Manager

I just called this number 866-755-6039 and a person actually answered.  He was from Compass Bank.  He wanted to set up an appointment with me for a Branch Manager, Joe Hardimann, who was located in my neighborhood, to just drop by and talk about my business.  Since I do not have a business I told him to not call my number again.  I asked for Joe Hardimann's number so I could call him and tell him not to waste his or my time.  I asked for Joe's number and it started off with Area Code 972.  I interruped the pitch-man an wanted to know how Joe could just be a Branch Manager in the neighborhood when 972 is in Texas and I am in Florida?  Suprisingly he could't answer the question.  I repeated "Do Not Call This Number Again" and hung up.

Received call- Woman who I spoke with was really nice.  They are trying to make apts to share what BBVA Compass has to offer with Business Banking.  I told her, why not- come on by.  I like "good ole fashion banking" like this.

I got a call from these people. There was a short pause when the phone connected, but the person was really nice. Said they were from Compass State, didn't want to waste my time, just wanted to see if I was interested in their services. I said no, and they said it was cool, and hung up. Best telemarketers I've ever encountered. I use to work in a call center, so I know how it is, ya know?

Repeated calls in the last two days. Answer the phone and it hangs up

This number called,and asked for my boss...I ask who they were and he said he was calling from BBVA Compass Bank.......

this number is about 2/3 of the way through my "SPAM" contact, so it is quite old.  today i missed the call and there was no message left.

These people are not from a professional call center. If they were, they would not call a number, breathe in the phone as the receiving party is say, "Hello, hello!" and then hang up especially when it is a business they are calling. If you're receiving these calls from such a business as Compass Bank/BBVA, have NEVER done business with them and you're on the Do Not Call List, report them to the FCC. This is your right. If the FCC gets enough complaints on a specific number, they will investigate and punish accordingly based on the complaints.  https://esupport.fcc.gov/ccmsforms/form1088.action

First, let me say that I do not answer calls from 800, 866, 888, and others I do not recognize since these skammers can now spoof their numbers through another area code.
I was interested to know that several people identified this number with Compass Bank.  I get emails all the time from Compass Bank that my account has been frozen and I need to click on the following link to get more information.   Like really?  I don't have an account with Compass Bank so it is obviously a fraud. I send all strange emails regarding my frozen accounts and my billion dollar winnings to the  antiphishing@antiphishing.org.

This number keeps calling our office and hangs up once answered. It's annoying to say the least. If it's a telemarketer, regardless of how "nice", "helpful", or "useful" they may be...by the time they get around to actually talking to me one of these times, I'm going to be too irritated by the hang ups to listen. Not very smart business strategy for cold-calls if you ask me.

this number calls every day to my home business and I don't have time to be solicited.  This should be against the law.  If I need the service of a 3rd party, I'll find THEM.

Caller hung up when I answered.

Someone needs to beat the daylights outa them, better pray we don't get a name and location !
