Just got a call from #253-655-0122 saying that they are a courier service & are scheduled to deliver some papers to my place of residence tomorrow between the hours of 3-5pm. If I need to contact anyone regarding the paper work I am receiving I am to call #866-755-9648. They have been calling me saying the same thing for the last couple months.

I think it is a scam.

exact same message. No clue what its about. Another scam collections attempt from something.

I just got the same message courier license # 626CRW

"This is Same Day Courier Service...scheduled delivery between 3-5 tomorrow.....need 1 form of picture id ..If need to reschedule delivery of paperwork, please call 866-755-9648. ...... etc., etc., etc. (same as Lisa M above).  This is a scam.
I have been debt free since 2006.....ugh...

Just received the same message today.

Just got the exact same call here in Milwaukee. Seems like it's a scam as they were not specific to who they were contacting.

Same as other are reporting.  Courier coming tomorrow, blah, blah, blah ...  There simply has to be some way to stop this!  Certainly not calling the number.  Damn scammers.

Got the same message too yesterday around 600 pm. Guess tehy don't have  nothing to do.

I just received the same phone call.  No one who is serving you papers calls you first to let you know that they are coming!!!   I keep getting these calls also with all the same information.

I received the same call and I called the number 1-866-755-9648.  They stated they were the law offices of Jeffrey Bates and asked if I was related to or knew Benjamin Johnson.  I told them no I am neither related to or familiar with an individual named Benjamin Johnson.  The line got silent and another man came on and I gave him the same response.  He said the man must have had my number before me and I said really, I have had this number since 1996 isn't this a long time that you have had no contact with Mr. Johnson and do not know his information changed or your client doesn't know?  The man responded I will not allow you to talk to me in that condescending manner and I said fine than tell me what state you practice in and he said New York and I said fine than I will contact the State Bar in New York and hung up.  I can not find a Law Office of Jeffrey Bates in New York, at least one that would appear to be this one.

I got a text giving this number to contact .  

Your account with Checkmate is now 427 days ast due.  Please call 866-744-9648 to stop all the legal proceedings.

I called the number and got voice mail of James peters from j p consultants who said to leave message with case summons number.I have also been told this number is used for target credit inquiries as well

Did any papers actually get delivered? I just got the same message and was trying to figure out who they are.

Highly doubtful any where ever delivered. These folks are breaking all the laws to begin with.   You only have to read through the numerous threads here to see exactly what kind of games they are playing. Read up on the laws, links on the right sidebar.   If your being called, file reports on them and stop answering the phone.

I just got the same call.  Now Paul Murray is in Texas!! Wow, he really gets around! Bite me, Paul...

I just recevied the same exact call, said Paul Murray would be at my residence between 3-5pm or at my job...I live in Georgia.
