was not home when they called, i tried calling back and the phone rang and rang. no answer at all. tells me that it is a telemarketing firm. i have no debts.

Repeated hangup calls from 866 759-1612.

We got another call this afternoon (Sunday) says it is the "chiefs of police organization". Since another website showed 8 calls in our state we looked up the organization, found mug shot of president--chief of police  in Laurel MT.  We left a complaint with him.

calls everyday multiple times and hangs up, I'm so tired of it!

calls 2 or 3 times per day just to hang up.  never leaves a message on the answer machine.  sometimes I hear laughing in the background.  these persons need to be punished.

Keeps calling in the evenings.  Does not leave a message.

As per the other postings, received call from this this number (866-759-1612).  Did not answer phone, no message left.  Have received many similar calls at same time many evenings.  Finally *69'd and identified this number.  Consistent with others' conclusions this is a telemarketer calling a number on the "national don't call" list.

called 02/01/10 4:33 claim to be from the Chiefs of Police organization, have many calles from this number and organization.

Answer & hangs up on ya. Call number back & endless rings. Pissants

2 calls a day for the last 6 months.  Relentless.  Am on "no call  list."  I am ready to kill this [***] to protect my family and privacy.

Same as other complaints, called daily and am also on the "no call list".

Thanks for the warning. These people call three or four times a days and it seems like for a month. When I donated to our local Sheriff I told him about this organization and how they continually call and now wonder they have trouble with angry people when they call., and aren't calls suppose to be during business hours. Anyway now I know not to pick up . Thanks. I just re-registered a month ago on the DNC list, I see it doesn't do any good.

This appears to be an organization looking for donations. Such organizations are EXEMPT from the Do Not Call Registry. They can keep calling you and there's nothing that can be done about it.

To Protect and Serve or to harrass! Chief of police with never ending calls. I politely declined and was treated rude discount offers and then hung up on. Now one week later they are calling again. This is just wrong.

calls daily, blocked # till full, unblocked & within an hour call started, blocked again. Please leave us alone we are just poor farmers & this is our home.

I keep getting calls from these jerks at least four times a day, It is for the Chief of Police. They sent me forms stating I donated $25. and wanted a check. I sent it back and told them to take me off their calling list and mailing list and I did not talk to anyone stating I would donate, because I donate to the local police department . I am soo sick of theses people. Just because they are law inforcement does not give them the right to harass people on the phone for money.

I did the same, I have written down all unwanted toll free and private caller and out of area calls and I have an 8x10 sheet - 2 columns - of numbers!!  Unreal!!  Did the DNC list several times????
