They called back a few minutes later. It's GE money. about a walmart credit bard bill.

This number calls me 5-6 times a day.  I hate it!  Does anyone know how to block the nummber?

I keep getting calls for another person on my cellular from 866-761-6580. It is GE Capital I think and they are collecting a past due debt.

My payments are up to date & current & they still call me five & six times a day from 2 different numbers ...

They call me all the time looking for someone else, I tell them they have the wrong number but they don't care.

Says 800 service.  GE Capital.  Walmart Creditcard past due.  They are a royal pain in the ass.  However past due is past due.

I have an account with GEMB for Sleep Train Mattress...Never had a WalMart Acct, and Sleep Train is paid off...WTF???

I don't have a GE Money Bank/WallMart Credit card, they keep calling me and i've just added them to my phone log as bill collector. I don't have a wallmart card/ge card.

They call 2-4 times a day and don't even leave a message but take up at least 45 seconds up to 2 minutes on my answering machine.

Getting calls from this number.  Read through the threads and I don't have anything in collections or any of these cards listed.  Not leaving a voicemail or any other information and my phone automatically sends toll free numbers to voicemail.

Keep getting calls from this number.  Recently checked my credit report and I don't have any collections or past due debts, especially none of the cards or accounts listed in this thread.  I just keep sending them to voicemail.  I think they might be looking for someone else.

I received a call from them on my cell phone. I didn't answer, and no message was left. GE Capital handled Mervyn's credit card accounts after Mervyn's closed. My Mervyn's card was paid off last month two weeks before its payment due date. If they call again, I'll file a complaint against them with the Federal Trade Commission.

Get a Google Voice telephone number.

List this only with creditors.

Their messages are transcribed and sent to your email.

You can respond to them when you are ready to respond to them.

I keep getting a call from these people at 5:00 o clock every day.  I have a Walmart credit card but its up to date and has lots of available credit so I know they are not looking for me.  I even went to the web site they state on the message.  www.walmart.com/credit.  I signed into my account and there were no messages or alerts or red flags so I know they are looking for someone else.  I decided to block the calls after a week of this nonsense.

I received a call telling me that I had a GE/Walmart card balance due.  My last payment was in 2008.  I have never had a GE/Walmart card and I can assure you that I didn't make any payments on one.  The first time they called they said the bill was for $1000+.  I send in a fraud form to GE Capital and I am still waiting to get the info back.  I want the original credit application and I want to know who was making these payments.  Anyways I just received a call this past Saturday and the amount is now up to $1700+  Really?  I am not paying on something I never had.
