This is a legitimate number used by the CC fraud protection system. You will get a call from them, if their system thinks that a recent credit card transaction could be fraudulent.

I would caution anyone receiving such a call to call the number on the back of their credit/debit card - that way you can be sure you are talking to a legitimate caller.

THIS IS A SCAM! IGNORE WHAT DANA SAYS

This is a phishing scam. No legimitate fraud line will call people who don't have the cards that they claim to represent, and ask for the full 16 digit card number, the pin number, and the expiration date on the card. The electronic system they use is crude and poorly programmed. I had fun giving it a few fake numbers and confusing it.

Do not call them. Netspend asks that you call and enter your debit card info. Umm. No.

This is definitely a scam.  They called my cell phone number, which my credit card company does not have.  Maybe "Dana" is part of the scam, doing a pre-emptive strike on 800notes before the calls even begin!  Hmm, clever, if evil.  Hope you get caught!  I'm reporting the calling number and IP trace record to FTC, Attorney General, and my FBI friend.

    DoN'T THINK SO
These fools called my cell a little after 4pm today (5/21/14) and left a voicemail saying something about a prepaid debit card and something about calling a phone number to resolve this manner.  LOL ..... I don't have any type of debit card and, if I did, I definitely would not call them back.  Evil little [***]!!!

    Skeptical
Random call on cell phone and circa 1990 robo voice asks me to call back about a prepaid debit card and to enter the number. I particularly liked the cheerful "gooodbyyye". Yes. Definitely will call you right back.

You are incorrect Dana, this is a phishing scheme.  I have never had a pre-paid debit card and this call was trying to get me to enter my number, if I had one.  So I warn everyone to NOT FALL FOR THIS....
