    Actually, commissioned salespeople FOR Nuance.  I don't know if they are legit or not, but I did find one forum that complained about Nuance not giving support without a fee when they bought through that number.

    I have been received several calls per day from this phone number.  I answer the phone each time to silence or clicking. No one has every spoken to me.  It is very annoying as this has been going on several times per day for weeks.  S

    I called the number back and the phone menu system identified the company as Nuance.  I have used their products for years and have registered them.  I presume this a sales/marketing call attempt.  The problem is their automated phone dailers aren't working properly for my telephone number for some reason and just won't give up.

    The phone menu system lead to a place were I could leave a message and call back #.  I didn't leave a message.  I don't want to be called by them.

    These people's computer calling system is relentless.  I have received at least one call per day (up to 3) for over a week!  No one ever talks and when I call back I get the answering machine mentioned above.  I don't know how to make them stop!

    I Received a call from this number today (Xmas Eve). Call identified himself from Nuance. Offered to sell me NUANCE Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Preferred for $100 with a money back Guarantee and two free gifts. I told him I would not give him my credit card number without verification. He gave me this number to call and verify and his ext. 1550. I tried to call Nuance but they are closed today. I am a registered user so it could be legitimate but the cheapest I have been able to find the product is Newegg at $177. It could be a good deal but .... I didn't call back but he called at least 4 more times. I didn't answer.

    I can't believe you didn't give them a call back. I myself have called with concern towards my cc and after finding out everything was ligit; I've ordered several nuance products and when you register with your number a representative specifically from the company will contact you as promotions arise. I do figure the savings to be anywhere from 50- 80% off the normal prise. Plus what other software company allows you to first use the program with a 30 day mbg? Either remove your number or appreciate the savings.

    If you don't want to be called, ask to be placed on the do not call list. Some auto dialers take a second to bring the rep on the line which is why there is a delay, if you hold on a second they'll jump on an then ask to be put on the do not call list. I've baught from them and they are reliable and they offered me 90 day of free tech support. Although marketing calls are annoying their deals are great. I baught the $500 omni page for only $100. If that's not a deal i don't know what is.

    leave a message with your phone number asking to be removed from the list. they will do it. I've talked to their supervisor before and he was very cooperative and polite. I will tell you though if you use Nuance products they do offer better deals than whats on the website. i baught their omni page (which is a great software) regular price 500 and i got it for a $100 and i never had it before. I've used their dragon software for years which has finally gotten a lot better, but back on subject if you dont want to be called follow the directions above

    this is legitimate u just passed up a great deal. If you would've answered. I got that same deal, and it's been working out well. Dragon 10 is awesome. I think they still have it goin on. I picked one up for my Grandmother too about a month ago and she's been enjoying it cause she's not very good at typing or computer saavy. Except i got her a blue tooth with it for an additional 100 so 200 for dragon and bluetooth equals great deal. It wasnt a cheap bluetooth either its made by plantronics

        I work as a steno-typist in a solicitor firm in Kolkata. To avoid heavy work load, I need Dragon Software. I want to know whether my dictation will be recorded, i.e. will be typed in the hard drive of my computer      and the print out of the typing matter will be taken out.  The configuration of my computer is as follows :-
        3.0 GHz – processor
        Intel Original Mother Board – D101 GGC
        512 DDR RAM 400
        LG DVD Writer
        580 GB internal SATA hard disc
    I have Windows XP system.

    I want to know whether the Dragon Software will support the configuration of my computer machine.
    I have also a query – I have creative 250 9V AC speaker.  A microphone is necessary for recording dictation through this software and my voice should be matched with the machine or matching of voice with the machine is not
    necessary ?           Which microphone is necessary – microphone with headphone or microphone without headphone and of which company ?                                                                
    Kindly give me the website address so that I may click the same and download the said software. If my purpose of work is solved through downloaded trial version, I am very much interested in purchasing the said software from your concern. What is the price in Indian rupee ? So, kindly give answer to my queries. If the speaker does not match with my voice, then whatever I shall say, that will not be typed correctly - in that case I have to match my voice with the microphone - is that so ? If mistakes are taken place in the text matter, I have to check the whole text matter or any indication will show so that it will be convenient for me to find out the mistakes ? Can I edit the text matter if the mistakes occur ?
