This telemarketer is persistently calling and hanging up once he or she realizes that they are not dealing with someone helpless. I believe they are trying to sell some kind of service, but so far all they do is call and then hang up once they get someone who sounds like an intelligent human being that will not be taken advantage of. they call every day, if my Girlfriend answers they usually try to sell her something. This is not gonna happen.

They've phoned my house 5 times in a 3 hour window. They only leave hang ups as voice mails and I seem to always miss them, so I haven't had a chance to see who's on the other line.

I almost fell for it myself and usually I don't. But I do believe it's phoney. All I gave them was my name, year I graduated and mailing address, and Air Miles number. I didn't give them anything like credit information. When he started asking where I work and what street it was on that's when I told him I was no longer interested and he just hung up. I hope I didn't give out too much information. They were selling either the option of 50 air miles points or some Chatelaine cook book with an additional magazine subrscription for McCleans for like 18 bucks a month with 3 other additional free magazine subscriptions. Definitely sounds like bull crap.

calls every couple of hours doesnt leave a message diall 1 infront of it and get bussy signall. If anyone knows of a way to cut into the line let me know. You used to be able to call operator and if line is bussy the op would cut into the line and notify the person that someone is waiting for them to get of the line.
