It was at exactly 6:00 PM (Central). I didn't get to the phone in time to answer the call. I dialed *69, and the number I was given was 1-866-794-8255. I tried to call it back on my home phone and my cell phone, but it never rang. It just hung up.

Received call at 9 pm 02/11. Caller hung up. Called back not ring, called from cell rings busy. Everyone needs to file a complaint with the FCC, here is the link: https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do

3:18 pm Feb 14, 2008 - call went to VM and no message left

This is harassment. These people from 1-866-794-8255 just called my house twice, 15 minutes apart. THey called yesterday as well. Has anyone had any luck in getting rid of them?!

I am from BC, Canada, and I am uncertain as to the purpose of the call. I have a home business and the caller from this number 866-794-8255 called my Home Office Fax # I attempted to call them back thinking it may have been a client but the number rings busy every time, so I attempted to Fax them back at this 866-794-8255 number back but it always rings busy !

Just got a call from 1-866-794-8255. Picked up, but there was no-one there; and the connection went dead after about 30 seconds. I think the same number's been calling every few days for weeks now. Might be from the same place as some customer survey calls I also got but whose caller ID I don't remember. I declined to answer any of their questions. But they're still calling.

Very annoying they just hang up!!

Caller said she was doing a banking survey.
I told her "sorry i am not interested in any BANKING survey"
Does she think we're stupid?

They have called 4 days in a row around 3pm each day. no message left. Really annoying.looked it up on reverse phone check online says columbus ohio listed to a Smith, John.

Received a call from this number on a Saturday afternoon at 3:30 - I picked up but there was no one on the line.

called me, i missed it... didnt leave a message. i tried to call back and theres nothing???.. messed up!

Called and no one spoke when I answered, around 8h15...

I'm using the free Phonetray software with a cheap Agere voice modem.  I'll simply add them to the zap list and they'll get SIT tones.  I'll report back if that doesn't work.

Received call on my cell phone from 866-794-8255, picked up and heard nothing. Stayed on the line for a few moments, said hello a couple of times, nothing but dead silence. Then the line was cut.

Just received a call from that number, but all I heard was dead silence... then a busy signal.

That just pisses me off.  If someone is going to call, I wish they would say something.

For the past few months we've been getting calls, every day from 1-866-794-8255. The one time when I answered, it was a survey about which TV programs we watch.  I told them we don't have a TV, and hung up. WE still continue to get calls everday, but don't pick up the phone when we see the same number on call display.  I'm going to unplug my phones and tell my family and close friends to call us on our cell phones, as we're not getting any calls there...yet!

Receive 1 to 2 calls a day from 866-794-8255.  I either answer and hang up or don't answer at all.  They never leave a message.

Numerous calls from this number over the past year.  Am finally getting around to getting on top of this problem.  Here, you can call Telus and ask to have your name and number delisted from the telemarketer list.  This is a separate thing from being on a do-not-calll list.
