Needless to say, they are relentless. Too bad they never got the right state. Lets see how many more calls I can get.- Caller: Never said who they were
- THi Nunya!
OMGosh! They've called for months from everywhere. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize that are out of the area. I've gotten the same things as you from all over. What happens is that if you ever took out a PAYDAY Loan and paid off your debt, somehow these leechers get some kind of contact info, most likely just a phone number and try to scam you out of some more money.- Call type: Debt collector
- TheNiceGirlThey're using a 512-456-5164 number. They'll call every day, numerous times a day to my work, cell and home numbers. Since I don't owe any payday loans, these people are just out of control. They've even said they'll have me arrested once they verify my address. Since I've lived in the same address for OVER 10 years now, that doesn't hold any weight. I would say that these people need to get a life, but they're obviously scaring enough people into giving them money that they just don't care.
They refuse to give me any details - like their company, who I might have incurred said original debt with, when said debt was incurred, how much the original amount was... Only someone trying to scam the system would be so uninforming. Too bad I have the internet and can actually check into these morons.- Caller: Won't say
- AnamouseThey are relentless! The other recorded message they use is "It is imperative that we speak with XYZ regarding a statement for a filing please press 1 or call 866-795-6989"
The list of things wrong with this company is endless.
Here are more numbers that they use (I apologize in advance if any of these are repeats from above):

Would you like a shorter version to suit your Tweet-length attention span? Use the law the way it is written and applied, not by guessing at it or relying on someone else's guesswork.
Sorry if that doesn't answer you. That's the problem with questions lacking focus: Nobody knows what you're talking about. - Resident47 replies to daviudCentennial Law of Ventura, CA is a great spammer, not a great consumer defender. - AnonymousLARRY SZANYI and OLIVER CLOTHESOFF are obviously the same guy. Butthurt because their little scam got caught. I got my first call from them today and find this interesting. I have a set of very good highly paid lawyers on retainer and will be more than happy to get a hold of them if they decide to call me back.

- TThis number is on the website of North American Holdings as their business number. THis company has been contacting my husband about a debt-saying they sent 2 letters that we must have disregarded as junk mail (really?). I told them we would be happy to pay any debt we are owed if we receive something. They then asked for my email, sent a letter that I could have written with no physical address. The website even has a P.O. Box as its address.- P.O. box 1035 Seneca, NY. 14224. I went on the secretary of state of NY and looked up if the business is filed and it is NOT!! You do not have to be harassed at work! If it is a legit company you must send them a cease and decist letter (google it). By law they have to stop all contact by phone if you send it. Send it registered so you get a receipt that they received it. Whatever this company says they are- THEY ARE A FRAUD!
- Caller: North American Holdings
- KateThey called me and threatened me, saying a warrant had been issued for my arrest and if I didn't pay, police would be arriving to arrest me in the morning. I knew I didn't have any debt, so this struck me as odd. I hung up and, for kicks, ran a background on myself (I work in security). As I expected, no issues. So, when I got out of work, I went to the local police station, called the number back chatted for a few minutes with these [***] on speakerphone with a police officer listening in as they again threatened me with arrest. As soon as she introduced herself and the fact that she was an officer...click. They hung up.
Haven't gotten a call back since then.- Caller: Legacy

- middleagedkeep getting calls from them. They don't leave a name, but say they are trying to confirm an address for legal papers to be served at this address. They call at home, which I am gone from during the day. This number does not appear on my caller id though. I'm not calling back. They can just serve me.
- MidleagedI get several of these calls a week about how they need to verify an address. Never a name and caller just shows numbers which are always diferent. They left a call back number of 937-352-4171. Today they say this is my last chance. They only call my home number and luckily I am not here during the day.
- anonymous replies to BARBARAYes it is against the law!! It is called third party messages which violates your privacy and violates fair debt practices. If they refuse to send a debt validation letter to you. Turn them into the Attorney General's office!!

When I called the number, they couldn't look me up by eithert telephone number they called or name.
The woman, after she finally found my name, just said they had already (then changed to were going to) file a civil lawsuit. I said, "Really, for $77?" She just said yes, and that they were adding a $3500 "legal fee." I told her I was pretty sure that would be illegal (and laughed). She just hung up on me after telling me (rather rudely), "Fine, have a blessed day."
This just looks like typical collection agency tactics. I intend to call back later today and ask them to "serve" my papers at the local police office, where I will be happy to be waiting with the officer in charge of the fraud division.- Caller: Unknown gibberish

- dbThese people use a computer to randomly call people who must have applied for an online payday loan at some time. That's why they have such a hard time finding you if you call back. They wait for people to answer, then get a live person to try to bully you into giving them your CC or bank info over the phone. Some people are scared enough by their bullying tactics to actually do it. It is a scam. Don't fall for it. Ignore the calls, and don't call back.
