I keep getting phone calls from this phone number as well as a 886 921 1861 number. I've received 10 phone calls in the last two days. when i answer, the hang up. if i don't answer it only rings a couple of times.

I have gotten calls from both of these numbers too. It was an indian/Asian man claiming my 'windows' computer has a virus. Stupid scam to hack your PC.

They call saying they need to check my pc and ask to turn it on and follow their directions... they claim to need to make repairs to my internet system....

THIS IS A SCAM!!!! DONT GIVE THIS PERSON ANY INFORMATION!!! I DONT KNOW HOW THEY GOT MY NAME BUT I NEVER CALLED THEM ABOUT COMPUTER PROBLEMS!!! ITS IDENTITY THEFT!!!

They are trying to hack my computer. They know I have Norton and they keep calling me. Please make them stop.

They have called me at least 50 times, twice a day. I have never answered.

I have received numerous calls from 866 797 6277 the past 2 weeks, 2 calls so far today. I have blocked the number but still receive calls.

These people called and my husband answered - they ask to speak to me and he said no that isn't going to happen - they said why not - he said cause I said so!   HAHAHA    I called them back and left them a very nice (NOT) voice mail telling them we were not going to buy anything from them.  How stupid do they think we are!!!  SCAM SCAM BEWARE!!!

I keep getting calls from these people claiming to be Support Buddy. They Ask to get on my computer and when I refuse they immediately just hang up on me. They have called me twice so far.

Just wandering if anyone here has used Dell shortly before these calls started? I had a problem shortly with one of my Dells and I called their technical support shortly before these calls started. Maybe if we can narrow it down to a company or such we can find out how these people are filling their rolodex of people to call.

After reading about the perzon using Norton it clicked, I got a phone number off the internet for norton trying to get my new program to work. And the guy on the other end took all my info and accessed through my computer, needless to say these pun jobbies crash my computer. Fast forward 5 months this number keeps calling me 8666 797 6277, I finally answer it and the pun jobby asks me if he is talking too (MY NAME) I say yes and he hangs up on me. Now I'm sure this is the same guy probably trying to hack my phone!

Never ever answer a call from a number you do not recognize, and never ever give them your name. Now they have your name. Also if you do not have a phone with a caller ID get you one and I recommend Panasonic with voice audio.

The same number called me a few minutes ago  and left a short msg on my answering machine that ended with hello.
The same number also called yesterday. Naturally I did not answer.

I've been getting phone calls for the past couple of months from 866-797-6277, and one thing that seems to be common among these calls is the use of Norton. I started receiving the calls shortly after it was installed on my system.

I received these calls right after contacting dell support. I believe they are subcontracted by dell to try n fix ur pc n to scam u into buying there software.

We have also been called CONTINUOUSLY from this number....also claiming to be from Windows support .......soooo annoying ....

Called me demanding $140.00 for computer support, wanted account number of bank.

YES...BEWARE...IT IS AN OBVIOUS SCAM!!  

My security company has no idea who they are.  Do not even verify your name when they ask to speak to __________.  I filed a complaint but the 1866 number is an offshore ping so not much can be done about it.
