Beware!!!  This is a Operation Repo!  Received a call from a very bubbly Caucasion girl called Angelica.  She sounded very polite and bright.  She killed the mood when she asked me to call her back at some long extension number.  They claim that they are investigators, but they are really Repo Guys and Gals.  The girl refused to give me her local number but confirmed their fax number to the Sylmar, CA location.  Their local number is 818-786-7376 and their fax number is 818-786-0177.

Just got a knock on the door at 8:30 p.m.!  They leave a card on our car -- my car that's not in repo status!  They also seem to be skip tracers, look for debtors, I think. Former renter here had problems and I think used this address for cars.  They're sneaky if they think they're coming here at 8:30 and we're gonna answer the darn door.  I keep a can of wasp spray by the door for my and my mom's protection from jerks.

I received a call from this number asking for my firned and when I called them back to ask the girl named Rosie how she got my number she got nervous and said "we have ways of finding out information" she wouldn't disclose the name of the company and when I said, "if you guys are going thru my legal records we are gonna have problems', she got nervous and hung up the phone.

I am complaining because around1:00 am on Sunday Nov 20, 2011, someone kept knocking on my door loudly and persistently without identifying himself. My husband wasn't home  so this made me even more scared. My heart was pounding.  I answered the door and  saw a man wearing a ski hat and a blond woman. The first thing he did, was hold the door open with his foot and said, "Give me the [***] car key". He yelled so loudly that it woke up my kids, which made me even more anxious since they had to go to school in the morning. They all woke up shaking and scared. I was also very concerned because my daughter has an illness that requires her to  take medication  on a daily basis and her doctors have told me that because of her condition she can't be under any type of stress.  My baby's heart was pounding. The man kept insisting for the car key. I asked which car, he said "the Hummer". I asked if he could show me some paperwork or a business card.
He replied, "I don't have to show you [***]!". At this time, I got scared and called 911. Then he ran toward his car and screamed "you hit me!" and I saw my hummer on top of his truck. I told my son to stay in front of the car until the police arrived. Then he yelled, "you punched me!!" Before the police arrived, a detective came to my house  and immediately handcuffed my son without asking what was going on. I know that the driver and the detective knew each other because the driver kept calling him by his name! After 10 minutes, the police arrived and told the detective to take the hand-cuffs off. Then the driver changed his story and said "a man hit me and got in the car and ran away". The officer asked him why he didn't  show any kind of a paperwork or business card and  the driver said "the man that hit me took the paperwork". The police officer asked the driver, "Do you have a extra business card to give her?" and  he said no. The truck didn't have a business name or logo or a Repo license number. It looked like a personal truck so how was I supposed to know whether those people weren't thieves. As we all know, the economy is undergoing a recession and I'm sure I'm  not the only one with  late payments. Having missed my deadline gives them no right to come to my house and harass me the way they did, in the middle of the night, in front of my kids and neighbors and around the Thanksgiving holiday. I was left without a car during this long holiday weekend and my entire family suffered the consequences.
