Phones frequently, tries to leave message (our message machine doesn't work)  We do not answer.

Phones frequently and then hangs up.

Called us a few days ago.  Name was unknown.  I called back to be given an offer AGAIN to come visit a vacation store.  They said they were SilverLeaf Vacation store and that we are guaranteed a prize such as a brand new benz as long as we make an appointment and come check out thier vacation offers.

I'd received a call from them before from several other number under several different names.  I'd originally made an appointment for the week prior but we did not make it because they never sent directions.  Good thing we did not because I'd then googled the other names we'd called from and saw several complains that all they do is give you a free seminar pressuring you to purchase one of their vacations and that you dont win anything.

I must add that the gentleman was pushy on the phone when I told him that I would not reschedule and come check them out until my husband and I did adequate research.  Not worth it to go.  If they continue to call me we will report them and I'd suggest anyone else do the same.  They will continue to call and call you its ridiculous!  Shouldn't of given them an inch....now they re trying to take a mile LOL.

Isnt this ridiculous

I made an appt for their spiel, thinking it'd be about an hour and I'd get free stuff.  We did get a $40 visa gift card, $20 restaurant gift card and two trips (it remains to be seen if those are for real), but it took THREE hours.  Don't make an appt if you don't have a few hours to kill.  Now I'm getting that number calling me again and we just went yesterday.  They don't leave a message.

We had to cancel out due to not being able to carry our pet ( a little Chichuahua, weighs 4 lbs, very quiet and well mannered) We actually had plans to go but they said No Pets allowed.  I asked to be called back before a reasonable time and see if we could carry him in a mesh bag (dog carrier) We did not get a call and we had to go to Tyler TX for a Dential appt. and left home about half way to Tyler, this Lady, a so called Supervisor, and proceeded to chew us out for canceling the appt and said we owe them about 2,000 dollars for the free gifts.  She got very hostile and then I got angry and we both hung up.
 Now the harassing calls started, on my cell phone and my home phone and was receiving calls every 15 minutes for the rest of the day.  I refused to answer them and finally yesterday I called and put a call block on my home phone and then blocked the caller.  Now this still did not stop on my cell phone and I cannot get call block on my cell phone, only change my # at a 25 dollar service charge.  I do not want to do that!  The calling parties are calling from

I've been getting calls off an off or a week or so from this 866 #  and others, as well as the 817-525-1040 yesterday.  Never leave messages.  I'm so glad this website is out there so I know now after reading the posts to definitely not answer these calls.  I've never heard of these people before and I don't know how they got my cell phone number.

ugh! 16 times they have called me.  Silverleaf, yes, i know i filled out a thing to enter to win a new boat, but no one said anything about winning 16 annoying phone calls and counting....

OMG! This company is ridiculous! I can only blame myself for getting into this bs, however, I did not ask for the harassment that I have received from these people. I entered what I thought was just a sweepstakes for a car.  When contacted, I scheduled an appt. for a "required" hour and a half meeting that I would have to attend before I could receive my prize(s). I had to cancel that meeting and did so 6 days before the meeting. The day before the meeting, this company started PSYCHO calling me at 10-20 mins. intervals.  Hello??? I had already cancelled the meeting! A day after the meeting was supposed to take place, I received a phone call and the woman proceeded to chew me out for not showing up to the appt. When I informed her that I had cancelled said appt she became extremely rude and said I shouldn't schedule appts that I couldn't keep. That did it...I firmly told her, do not call me ever again. Twenty seconds later, they called again. I answered the phone by saying "What part of DO NOT CALL me ever again, did you not understand"? This time it was a guy that had called and he tried to make amends and get me to agree to schedule another appt which I would not do. All I can say is the harassing phone calls better not even continue. My next step will be to file a complaint with the FCC and even the attorney general if necessary. If all else fails, I will sue them for harassment.

these people are obnoxious. i did make an appointment but then cancelled after reading about it online and all the complaint. now they will not stop calling me, 5 times a day every day. first i was ignoring the calls then i just finally picked up and repeatedly said i was not interested and the guy started  yelling at me! so i hung up and he calls right back. i picked up and he starts yelling at me again and i say do not call back and hung up again. he keeps calling....

I believe the same company is now harrassing me too. First I got a letter in the mail saying I won a contest I entered. It had the words INSTANT GOLD and I could choose my prize. I ignored it because it did not say which contest I had entered.
Then a few days later, I received a call from an "Award Center" saying I won a contest I entered at the Cowtown Marathon. I did enter a contest there so I thought maybe it was legit.
First I spoke with Irena, then Robert who made an appointment for me to visit the Silver Leaf Resorts Vacation Store. The number on my caller id was 817-525-1024. Robert said I could call him back at 800-720-5621. He also said he was the only Robert working there.
After reading your horror stories I don't know whether I should cancel the upcoming appointment or just not show up. Either way, looks like I will be getting a lot more calls.

I went to a Home & Garden show and signed up for a free vacation and now it had turned into this huge thing.  866-804-8589 keeps calling me saying that i have won.  The lady would not let me hang up until I have made an appointment so just to please her I said I will be there.  Well I received another phone call a few days later and wanted to make sure I will be there.  I tried to cancel and told her that I am not interested and the lady told me that I can not cancel because they already have a lot of money invested in me to come  in my name.  So then I just told them that I will be there so I could hang up.  Now they keep calling me and I am not about to answer my phone.  This is ridiculous.  I am not sure what else can be done but I am going to try and find a way.  This really needs to STOP!!!

Calls every 20 minutes!!!

Similar story to Very annoyed - 20 April 2009. I told the lady that she could mail/email me the information and I would look at it before deciding anything. Of course, I was forced to make an appointment, which I later emailed them and went to their website to cancel. The day before my appointment they called me every 20 minutes from 10am until 8pm, from 3-4 different phone numbers. I did not go to the appointment, but they are still calling every couple of days from 866-804-8589. They need to stop calling me. This is ridiculous.

OMG...!!! I have an appointment with them tomorrow, what should I do..??? My husband is going to kill me if I make him waist his time and gas. Would something happened to me if I just don't show up other than the calls??

I recieved a call from them as well, after trying to win a Corvette in a Mall sweepstakes.  After reading these responses i can definatively say two things.  First, i will NOT be attending.  Second, i will NEVER own a quiet and well mannered 4 lb. Chichuahua.

I entered a sweepstakes at a bridal show in Houston, TX.  I got a call from these people (Silverleaf Resorts) saying I had won a trip and $5000 cash.  I was surprised to say the least.

Made an appointment to see them...

After consulting family members and having weird feelings about it being a scam, I decided to not go to my scheduled appointment.  Not a big deal, huh?  Apparently to them, it was.

Here's all the numbers they have used to try and contact me.  Literally calling my house and my cell number every 10 minutes, leaving messages sometimes, other times not leaving messages.

OMG! I didn't have time to research this while on the phone with "Awards something.." so i miss all these calls (multiple calls per day everyday for past 3 days without any messages left).  So i decide to call back and they answer " Awards something.." they told me i have won 1 of 4 grand prizes i think it was 3 cars or $49,000 in cash so i say "ya right uh huh...is this for real? whats the catch?" they said all i have to do is claim the prize by setting up a 90 min. tour at the conroe resort. I said "show me some paperwork because this sounds like sh*t.." so anyways i went ahead and scheduled for the seminar/tour and they asked if i am coming on so and so date i said " ya if i look at the paperwork your going to send me and if i dont think it is bull sh*t"  so now i am here searching about this silverleaf resorts..yes there is an actual resort but i didnt know about all these crazy calls..ugh what do i do now? do i really get anything if i go i dont mind spending/wasting some time if i actually win something worth it.

i just recived i call from silverleaf vacation store but so far ive gotten just one call and the rest is just by mail it does sound to good to be true but in a way i wanna check it out. i really cant say nothing bad about it because they havent been bothering me they just called to say if i was really going to make it thats about it- if its a bunch of bs im defenetly going to leave so ill see how it goes tomorrow. and ill be back in here to write my experience with silverleaf vacation store
