They were calling me 10 and 15 times a day.  I called and asked to be put on a do not call list - they made me talk to a supervisor.  It was unbelievable.  2 days later, I got a claim form with all of my information including a signature and all of it was forged.  It was not my handwriting not my signature.  On top of that - I NEVER complete these things.  It is an awards company in Arlington, TX for timeshares.  File a complaint with the Texas Attorney Generals Office at https://www.oag.state.tx.us/forms/cpd/form.php

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

I did the same and called back, they want me to drive pretty far to claim my prize and attend a 90 minute "seminar" about a resort. They said I am guaranteed one of the top prizes and they give out a 40$ gift card for gas.

I entered a drawing and received a letter saying I "won" money or a great prize. This verification letter is for the purpose of soliciting timeshare sales.

Today I just got the same thing a letter with the drawing paper I signed. It said I won $49,000. I doubt that more than one person won the same prize.

Read the back of the voucher, it is all there. They are selling time shares and giving prizes to get you to hear the pitch. 1-20 in 53,000 are the chances for any of the good prizes. 53,099 out of 53,130 get a vacation voucher for 4 nights in on a island. deposit required. airfare clearly not included and all kinds of restriction. I'm sure they make it hard and expensive enough to use that most people don't.

One letter was SilverLeaf Resort 'pre-qualified for a loan for a time share letter' a few days ago, then today AVC Travel titled '$49,000 Cash Giveawy'.  I tear up & recycle the paper, even though yes, I entered the drawing at Houston's Italian Festival at the St Thomas campus to the nice lady who presented complimentary tickets to The Improv.  I'm not typically one to give out information, yet as a researching consumer, I sure regret having willingly given as much as I already gave (name, address, cell, email, that I'm married with children).  Don't I feel silly now. Upsetting to learn it's a tactic to take advantage of consumers.

in addition, it was while I had 2 young children with me. As I tried to read the back 'fine print' Official Rules, I noticed she was retrieving it out of my hands a little too fast.  I could've finished reading, then tore up, RUNNING away to say: NOOO Thank You after all!  Keep in mind when you run across a booth for 'enter to win' when you don't know more info.  Could ask which company & look it up on your smartphone right on the spot...

What do they do to take advantage of consumers? Not one person I see has gone to see what it was about.
