call showed up on caller ID. I called the number back but a recording says Sorry, your call cannot be completed as dialed. These 800 numbers are a pain. I am on the national do not call list!

I get a call almost daily from this number around 7pm and always nobody is on the other line- calling this number back results in a recording stating the number cannot be completed as dialed. Where can one file a complaint?

I am getting calls from this number and no one answers when I do, I am on a do not call list.

I get the same thing, it isn't in service, calls every night about the same time. but if this is a charity call, they aren't part of the do not call list. I tell them to put me on their own list, and they do, usually. But they aren't a prt of the national list.

Get a call in the morning and at night.  Every single day.

10:42 phone call daily, one in the pm.  will not quit calling my home number. If I answer the phone disconnects. What is going on.  I am very tired of this problem.

Every day, usually in the evening.  Answer & no one's there.  Call back the number & get the message Sorry, your call cannot be completed.  Very irritating problem!

I'm in LA. Like many of you above, I too get regular calls from said number but don't pick up...and they never leave a message.

Call at least 4 times/day.  Never answer and they never leave message.

Have gotten calls from this number at least twice a day. I think its the Kids Wish Foundation Charity. About a year after donating to them they would call and kept hanging up at least I believe it was them. They used to call using this number 866-303-6836. Not a good way to do business will never donate to them again.

I get 2or 3 calls a day from this number, no responce and no call back

3 times a day, 7 days a week. They are scum that need to go to jail. Fake charity.

I am sick and tired of hearing of these callers who claim to work for a charity and thus be exempt from the DNC laws. That may be true but what is also true is that NO ONE can harass you by telephone or otherwise. Calling repeatedly whether or not a conversation ensues with the intent to annoy, harass or alarm is against most state harassment laws. Multiple hangup calls will suffice. SUE these [***] under your state harassment laws and report all their calls to your state AG office!

Calls once every morning and again in the evening, no one ever is on the line. I have tried to call this number back but it says call cannot be completed. I have even tried to report this number since we are on the Do not call list, it still calls. Does anyone have a solution to this annoying phone practice.

I registered with the Do Not Call registry and am constantly getting unsolicited calls.  I have begun keeping a log and on some dates will get 3 or more calls in the evening.  I also get calls early in the morning on Saturdays.

I have registered with the Do Not Call registry.  How can I stop these calls.  I was under the impression that they could get fined if they are calling on behalf of telemarketers?

After numerous calls from this number without leaving a message, I answered the phone.  They said they are with the American Deputies
Sheriffs' Association and they provide bullet proof vests and death benefits for officers killed in the line of duty among other things.  The only info I've found online is this regarding a lawsuit against them in Iowa: http://www.state.ia.us/government/ag/latest_n ... 4/ADSA_web.html.  

I have asked them to send me information in writing (although they asked for a verbal financial pledge before doing so) and then will send the info I receive to the state's Attorney General's office.  If enough people do this, perhaps we can help reduce these type of calls.

This number calls my home 6 or more times per day- I have a business in my home and have had to start unplugging my home phone during the day so as not to hear it ringing in the background when on my business line.

I'm in Ohio and I just recently started gettinh this call.  I did pledge money to a charity just before the calls started.  No one is ever on the line and when I call back the call will not go through.  Very frustrating very night these calls or a pain. I'm also on the do not call list, I wish I knew what we could do to get these types of calls to stop!
