I see basically the same messages other people have received.  My is a lengthy message stating it is not a sales call.  My message machine saids it came from 311-556-3320.  311 is not an area code.  According to the web this NPA of 311 is used for non emergency police and Government Services.  So does anyone know Who owns this number.

An English woman calls on a generic voicemail message stating they have attempted to call but we have not returned their calls.  The message requests that we call during their regular business hours on Eastern standard Time.

The message also states that this is not a sales call and sometimes goes on for 2-3 minutes.

They call approximately 1 time a day, seven days a week.  They're mostly between 10 a.m.-7 a.m. Central Time.

Below is information that I obtained that someone else obtained who was getting these calls.

These are calls from creditors and they may or may not have the right phone number and name when they call you.  If you do call them back from your home phone, your caller ID and information will show up on their computers and if you do owe someone money, by calling them back will verify that  they have your correct number.

If you have not gotten any correspondence with anyone that your money, it could be a mistake that they have your phone number and I would suggest calling from any other phone, such as a pay phone or any other phone not connected to you and advise them to stop calling.

Even if you do owe someone money, you can always call from a third-party phone, not including your cell phone, and advised them they are harassing you and when they ask who you are, just give them a fake name.  That should get your number off their list.

This is not a sales call. We have a very important personal business matter to discuss with you. To speak to a live attendant, please press 'pound' on your touchtone phone now. Otherwise it is crucial that you return this call as soon as possible; the toll free number: 866-808-7107. Again, the toll free number is 866-808-7107. Thank you. [Repeat, minus "Thank You." at the end]

I traced this down to Premiere CreditP.O. Box 19309 (or 2002 Wellesly Blvd. #100, or 1314 N. Post Rd.) Indianapolis, Indiana 46219

I called the number read in the call at 11:55 am. Lisa Kent, extension 11415, answered. She refused to put me on the do-not-call list. I called back at 12:06 pm. Tammy Scott, extension 11405, agreed to put me on their do-not-call list.

I called back at 4:41 pm, asking for the official contact name of someone at the company, since I plan on serving them in accordance with 47 CFR 64.1200 (b)(1) (To find, search for the word "beginning").

I spoke to Eric, a VP. He refused my request for information, and informed me that this did not apply to debt collection. (They are a debt collection agency, but have an incorrect number for a friend or relative of "Brandon Lane".

During the discussions, they repeatedly accused me of being Brandon Lane, and told me they would stop harrassing me if only I paid them what "I" owe them. I owe them nothing.) You will notice that he is wrong about the scope of the regulation.

He said he was sure about the scope, since they regularly pay legislators to fix up the debt collection legislation for them.

In any case, I found the information by searching on the website for Indiana's Secretary of State . It cost me $2, but I found the information I need:

    Registered Agent:
    G. Douglas Abrams
    2002 Wellesley Blvd. Ste. 300
    Indianapolis, IN 46219

I have yet to determine if 47 CFR 64.1200 (b)(1) allows me to sue, as some parts of Title 47, Chapter 5, Subchapter II, Part I, Section 227 allow consumers to sue for certain violations.

If you called the 888 number for the do not call list and put your number on it, telemarketers have 30 days there after to remove your number from their call list. This does not apply to creditors that you owe. If it is a creditor that has the wrong number and you tell them this and tell them to take your number off their list they are obligated to do so. But unfortinately, many times they will accuse you of lying and you then have to reasearch laws and be persistant, insistant and aggressive with them. You can always record the call and inform them you are recording the call. Chances are they will be more compliant.

We are on the do not call list and we are getting the same message:

It is really annoying since we do not owe anyone any money. I plan to call  and complain. Good Luck to me. Maybe if we all called the number and stayed on the line and ran their toll free number bill up sky high they would get the message.

They tell me that I received physical therapy and owe them $1,943.00.  They told me that they would report me to the credit bureu.  This is the second call that they actually got through on my cell phone number.  I have called the Physical Therapy place and they insist that I have no balance.  I asked to speak with the supervisor and they connected me to a person by the name of "Andrew."  He told me the balance was nonnegotiable and needed to be paid imediately.  I told them I thought this was a scam and to mail my info. to my house.  They called again today on my cell and stated the same info.  They told me I had this balance and that they would take action unless I made a payment.  I asked them where they were sen ding the info. and they said the wrong address.  I thanked them for being so polite and said I would be calling my lawyer.

Just received a call and picked up mid message as I couldn't find the phone. When I answered, the caller said she had a very important matter to discuss with me but had to verify my information first. She asked for my birthdate and I told her I would give it to her after she told me what she was calling for. She responded that if I didn't want to give her my information, I should have just let her leave a message. I told her thanks and goodbye.

I told her never heard of Premera Credit and would not divulge any information and wanted to know what she wanted she said she couldn't say until I verified my birthdate month and year she asked if I was born in 52 I told her yes and would not give her the year. She disconnected after that
