Calls usually from early AM to late evening. Prerecorded voice says "This is not a sales call. Please call Mercantile at 1-866-809-7506" etc.

Never called them but they keep calling.

Call several times a day, I never answer but they leave "This is not a sales call. Please call Mercantile..." message. Never called them back. They keep calling.

won't stop calling. been caling for severeal months. This is not a sale call. Please immediately call Mercantile .. . . .called at 8:46pm est

caller ID shows MAB 716-817-6409. I wish these people would stop

Has called for several weeks, but Caller ID says "Toll Free Number" and I do not answer.  Finally answered one time and the man harrassed me.  The call was not even for me, but about a family member.  He threatened to call everyday; think he has too.  He even raised his voice to me.  I have no right receiving this call.  Stop this NOW!

This is a group with many, many complaints with the BBC. They are Mercantile Adjustment Bureau, LLC in Rochester NY.

I have been reading aweful experiences with this company all over the place. Many of them say they were told they owe over $1000 and scammed into making monthly payments to the company.

I just wish they would stop!

I received a call from 1-866-809-7505 this morning and they asked for a
Jessica or a Pam.  I told her she had the wrong number. She said a post- note was attached with our name and number. However she never used my name or my Husband's name. I did not know a Jessica or Pam she was asking for.  She made her call from 1-877-230-8414 and gave me this number to call her back.  Her name was Kim Baldwin.

Message left on my cell phone to call: Mercantile @ 866-809-7506, the call came from: 716-817-6409. Said it was not a sales call and should call them immediately. First of all, I don't even owe anyone any money, except my house/car....which are both through banks, so I knew it was a scam to begin with. I tried to return the call and both numbers are busy- if anyone has any information regarding these people, I would love to have it. I would like to go to my cell phone company and report it and have them busted for scamming......this is a bunch of crap what they do to people, and there are tons of websites regarding this very number!

Received a phone call from 877-230-8414. Asking for another resident of the house.  I told the lady that he wasn't home and asked to take a message figuring that it a telemarketer.  She told me that her name was Kim Baldwin and that her number was 866-809-7506 ext 8587.  She then stated that it was important that she get a call back about a legal matter and gave me a case number...We have never received anything in the mail about a legal matter.  I googled the return number and found this site...We aren't calling back!

So today there was a message on the phone, "Please call the offices of Mercantile Adjustment Bureau." The clue was the message didn't ask to speak to any identified person. So I called 1-866-809-7506. The other party said he was calling "... Gibson" and I replied no such person at this number, so the bozo wanted to connect me with the 'wrong number department'. Ya, right. Bye! Rather belligerent guy on the other end. I've gotten other calls with CID of MAB. With these calls I hear phone bank sounds in background but that could be faked too.

Monday, Feb. 11, 8:55PM.  I received a phone call from a Mr. Rivera of Mercantile Adjustment Bureau.  Taken by my Dad.  When I got to the phone, this person wasn't there.  I did call back on Tuesday and spoke to a Brad who told me this was a debt owed by my ex-wife for just under $80 which she refused to pay.  Why he was calling me I do not understand.  Our divorce agreement from the court says that the car is totally her responsibility.  When I try to call MAB their recording says their office is closed.  This is 5pm  EST in the afternoon when their hours are until 9pm EST.  What goes?

Well , I too have received calls from them. I didnt know what the # was for , like a azz i called and they dont stop calling. every time they call i answer them nastier then they can ever be. Its just annoying they wont say why i woe money. But will call all day and even hang up.
THey are nasty ppl. with so many complaints out there , and man there as so many , just google their 800#.  

Im going to take the 2 ppl that keep calling to smalls claims court for running up my cell bill. they even prank call me now with the same unknown # .  made 4 complaints to the BBB.
Funny how the law works. A business can harass so many ppl and get away with it. Yet if one of did this to a person we would go to jail. Gotta love the system

File court papers , File complaints with the BBB, Post free stuff on the internet with their # and names. show them that phone calls from stangers can get annoying.

I am getting calls on my mobile device from this number.  The name left on my voice mail is Mercantile something or other.    I tried answering and the call disconnected.  i called the number back and got a voice mail.

From some [***] in the Bronx does not say anything that you can call English could not understand a new scam artist caller won't answer phone here anymore

called and said that there was a business assoiated with this company for this number, that all they said.

Person Calls looking for a guy I do not know, they are also harassing my mother at a different number I called to have my name removed from their system and a very ignorant man starts screaming at me and say my mouth keeps flapping like a ducks a**! Well if you cant get anymore ignorant. Nasty Rude unintelligent people answering the phones there. Save yourself the hassle and ignore the calls!

Re:Ashley Howell left message for me to return her call @1-866-809-7506 x8288. She did not reveal whom she was with. Researching the number tells me she's a collection agency.
Don't go there! You're asking for harassment!!
