- T.M.This number has called my cell phone 6 times today from 9am to 3:30, pretty much once an hour. Never leave a message and when I did answer I didn't even say hello, breathed heavily, and they hung up. Freaks. Leave me the heck alone.
- Anon| 2 repliesThis is a WaMu number. Might want to actually answer and take care of your crap!
- Caller: WaMu
- responder replies to AnonBesides ineptitude WAMU gushes crap. Answering the phone won't change anything.
- :P| 3 repliesThe person that called told me my acct. was overdrawn, which was untrue. When I told them that, they quickly hung up.I then called WaMu customer care and they told me it was not a valid WaMu number. If they call you from that number, don't give them any information!
- phished replies to :P| 1 replyI just called and they couldn't locate my account. Don't give them any info!!!
- Annoyed! They have called my work phone number more than 15 times today (thank God for caller ID). I did receive a message from them last week and it just said they were calling in regards to my Wamu account which has ironically been closed for over a year. This is a total scam!
- PissyThese guys keep calling me. I got a cell phone from verizon, and it was some loser guys old number. Now I have TONS of different people calling @ exactly 8:01am! I have to turn the sound off, so it wont wake my son. I wish verizon had a thing where I could block certain numbers!!

- 866-810-4601they call my house every 20 minutes. i called wamu and they said that this number does NOT belong to them. i called this number back and told them that i had spoken with wamu corporate office and they confirmed that this number is not part of wamu. the rep freaked out and said, "oh, we're wamu collections". then she admitted that they use skip trace in order to track down the person they need. i would call them and tell them you spoke with wamu corporate as well...they'll back off.
- Caller: wamu collections
- Call type: Debt collector
- AnonYou people are pathetic. This is a legitimate WaMu number. Call and speak with a supervisor if you are so concerned.
- Call type: Debt collector
- AnnoyedIf this is indeed a company associated with WaMu they are mighty confused. We do not, nor have we ever had an account with them.
Our phone has been called at least once an hour beginning a little after 9 this morning. This is ridiculous. - flustered| 1 replythis is a valid # for WaMu Account COLLECTIONS diff dept than Cst Svc... repeated calls happen if you don't pick up the phone. Just an FYI...
- Caller: WASHINGTON MUTUAL

- TGCI get about a dozen calls every day. Everytime I answer, it disconnects.
This is a legit WaMu number. I called customer support, because I assumed this # was outgoing only. The CS rep called the number and it was a department calling to notify me that my account was overdrawn (it is).
I told them that I was unemployed at the moment and couldn't do anything. I also told them that the multiple calls was harassment and if it didn't stop immediately, I would notify the FTC. Needless to say, it hasn't stopped.- Caller: WaMu
- Call type: Unwanted
- Struggling Small Biz Owner| 5 repliesIt is a legit WAMU Related number. I believe it's ER solutions. They handle collections for WAMU. I talk to them quite regularly. Look at my nickname and you'll know why.Their information can be as much as a week out of date, in my experience. They are autodialed numbers and a rep comes on if you answer. Once you answer and give them some idea of when you can balance your account they take your number out of the line up.
- Caller: ER Solutions (?)
- Call type: Debt collector
- hmm replies to Struggling Small Biz Ownerits wamu-- not a collection agency..
- Not A WAMU customer| 1 replySo what if they are calling you and you've never had one?
- Employee replies to Struggling Small Biz Owner| 1 replyWe are not a collection agency. These calls were once outsourced overseas but they have now been brought back into the states and Chase employees are making these calls, considering Chase bank just bought WaMu.
These are legitimate calls...
If you are getting calls and have never had an acct... call the number back and verify some info and if it's not you they are looking for the number can be removed. A lot of accts are possibly skiptraced and your number was put in the system as a possible acquaintance of said person(s). - Collector replies to Not A WAMU customerIf you are getting calls and have never had an acct... call the number back and verify some info and if it's not you they are looking for the number can be removed.
