Called 5 times saying he's calling for 30-minute massage.

Called twice, no message, 2nd time dead air.  Hello?  Hello?

I got this phone number from a letter from " D. Scott Carruthers and Associates". I called twice, and was put into a hold by the phone system for 20 minutes. I tried twice. I am now disputing the claim. If you want some fun, try googling that agency. MANY people writing boards about how they are NOT a credible company. Just thought i would post that here. Apparently these guys have SEVERAL different numbers, different names, and different addresses.

An automated message was left on my answering machine for one of my kids that has not lived at this number in many years.  They called themselves Regent Asset Managment Solutions and said to go to www.pamyment.com and enter a case number.

Been getting calls from "Regent Asset Management Solutions" who don't leave a message.  I don't know them---I'm guessing they are a collection agency.  Their web is "under contructions" http://ramsna.com.  I don't owe anybody anything.  Frankly, people owe me.  I'm happy to chat with them if they'd leave a message or cough up some info.  Missed calls are irrating when ya can't return them.  Oh well, just another useless company bother people I guess.  It's their phone bill, not mine.

I got a call from this number after leagal calling hours. The call came in at 9PM on Saturday 1-31-2009. I heard a recoring and was told to go online to a wedsite and look at my account and the recording gave me a access code. Was unable to write down the website or access code. The recording was some sort of debt collector. Not a professional way to collect a debt! Seems to be a little weird. If this is a debt collector not following the laws, I hope someone takes them down.

Called with a stupid recorded message that "threatens" that if I continue to listen, I am verifying the person they are trying to read, when this person has, for two years now, used my number for her bad debts, scams, etc.

Called asking for the location of our daughter who is out of state and I would not tell them...they say she owes money and would not identify who they were...nasty group

Be careful with this situation.  These guys have obtained our information somehow and have created this "debt collection" scam from dead accounts we have had.  There is such a thing called "Zombie"debt and is usually a settled debt i.e. an overdraft account that was closed, settled, and never re-opened.  These morons find this kind of stuff in the crap they bought and create a debt collection.  This is my situation.  If we do not dispute it in writing they can pursue a judgement regardless if the debt is valid or not "I do not know how but these scammers find a way"  I have been advised to write them a letter disputing the debt and requesting for them to cease contact efforts.  By law they must respect that request.  If you have received a letter from D. Scott Carruthers, look over the letter closely.  1st. what kind of law office has a Limited Liability Corporation or LLC?  Secondly they state that an investigation has begun to verify employment, assets and banking info which is illegal.  Thirdly they write in their letter that they have not verified the debt.  Lastly the letter is not signed.  One last thing, if you get a call from them ask for an address it will be in Colorado not Scranton,Ca

Got a garnishment on my check today from an account that is a few years old that I thought I had paid off.  I never even got a call or any kind of notice of a lawsuit.  The number on the garnishment was a colorado number but I live in Missouri.  Has anybody else had this happen?

Got this letter from D.Scott Carruthers & Assoicates, claiming I owed on a "zombie" account for a little over $1300.00 and that almost $1800.00 in interest has accrued since then and I now owe $3200.00.  What I found interesting is that not only was this debt paid and settled almost 6 years ago, but there is misspellings in this letter and it's not signed.  The letter claims that they have initiated an investigation to verify my employment, assests and banking information, which needless to say, is illegal.  It is also illegal for a collection agency to falsely imply or represent themselves as an attorney or that there is the involvement of an attorney in collecting a debt.

Regent Asset Management Solutions is a fraud and I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General as well as the National Center for Mail, Phone & Internet Fraud.  I welcome you all to the same since this appears to be an obvious illegal attempt to extort money from innocent people.

These people are sneaky and unfriendly. I could not get a name of a business from them until I identified myself. They left a very cryptic text message on my husband's phone. If they cannot get what they want as the Carruthers Group, they disguise themselves as Regent. I told the woman not to contact us again and she said, "Oh, I will keep calling you." Well, I am going to call a legal group that handles this sort of thing. The account has long been closed and is history. Interestingly enough, this Regent group has more than doubled the amount originally disputed by me and the bank. These people are pond scum. They are getting nasty and aggressive and I am going to contact a lawyer now.

Just got a call from the number they gave me a log in number but nothing went though.. Like someone else said it's their bill not mine.

I just got a call today from Regent Asset for my daughter and I am guessing it is related to the letter we got a month ago from Carruthers Group.  We had an account we settled 2 years ago and I am guessing they are trying to go after that.  I asked why they were calling and hung up on me.

I was hassled by these clowns a year ago. And now they're at it again. They call and tell me that I owe for an account that I NEVER had with US Bank, years ago. The funny thing is, that the year that they say I had this bogus account, US Bank wasn't even in St. Louis yet. I researched them the first time, and traced the attorney to Colorado. He's had complaints about unethical practices.
They also said that I had automatic deposit for my paychecks, but couldn't tell me the company that I'd worked for (I never had checks auto deposited from any job)
If they want me, they can come get me. Bring it!

I got a call from them people from a guy name Ken Jones who starts of the conversation with "Look, you need to get in contact with me to verify some of my personal information".  I don't know these people and I called them and come to find out they have the wrong person.  Be aware of this company because this look like a rip off.  I went to their website (http://ramsna.com/) and it said it is under construction.
