A woman called at my work after work hours. She said her name is Linda Thomas and I need to call her back immediately; she would be in the office at this number until 8:30.  She needed to get some location information give me details when we spoke, but it is very important that she speak to me immediately...call her right back.

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone.  I don't give out my cell number, so I don't have any idea how they got my number.  They left some pre-recorded message on my voice mail about how I needed to call them back today and etc.  I don't owe any money on credit cards or any other bills. So, I know that this is some kind of scam.

I have received the same message on my work phone as everyone else has described three times in an hour. My colleague and I do not have debt. How can we get them to stop calling this number?

I've gotten eight calls from "Linda Thomas" over the last two days, and I also have no debt to speak of. I half-convinced that this is some type of phishing scheme.

they are a joke I did some research on this company and they are using many different names.  the 1st time they called me they said they were the Law offices john Stanley and I o them money from a old us bank account.  then about a month later they called and said they where with the law offices of Scott coruthiers. I told them that I don't belive who they say they are and told them that I want to see the debt that they say I o them in writing. I told them my address (WHICH YOU SHOULD NEVER DO) and they never sent me anything(By law they have to send you a formal letter proving the debt.  it has been well over 7 months since I told them to send the letter and they never did.  Do you own research and you find that they are a bunch of frauds!!!!    Good luck they suck

They get phones from job websites replies to Tex
I got many annoying calls from this number. Just a quick note, last week i posted my resume on the main job websites, many scammers have "employer accounts" to have access to resumes and the private info on people looking for a job, it is a great source of info for them to spam your phone  and email. If you have a profile in one of these like at careerbuilder or monster and you have your personal data like phone number and email as viewable you can be certain to start geting spammed in a matter of days, sometimes even hours. That's what has happened to me every freaking time i post my resume, especially careerbuilder. Everytime i hide or delete my account there the spamming and calls suddenly go away...curious, huh?

Call and ask them to remove you
So i called this number and the IVR talks about being able to manage an account online at www.paymentoffer.com, which by the way if you have a firewall and a decent anti-virus origram it woill warn you before it dispalys the page that this is a potentially dangerous website with no current verifiable certificates (why doesn't that surprise me?) these sites usually inject malware and spyware and God knows what other crap into your system so don't open it! So finally a Johnathna answred the phone and i told him about the voicemails i was getting, he askled for my phone number and said they had the wrong number and that he would delete it from their system. I won't believe it til i stop getting these calls. I am sure they are nothing but a scam.
Red flags: the recorded message they leave on your vicemail is a generic one, they even do the mistake of leaving the space blank when they're supposed to say the person's name they're trying to contact...real collection agencies know your name and will address you by it.
Watch for any recent online activity you've done, especially if it's related to job websites.

LMAOOOOOOO...I called the number back and asked who they are and the lady that answered....hung on me!!! She wanted my phone number and I told her I wouldn't give it to her until she told me who they are....and she hung up on me. I contacted ATT and they checked the number and said it was a collection agency. Like the other reports...have nothing in collection.

They sued me on the 2nd of febuary I was unemployed at the time and   recently moved out of state for a job, I just got my 1st check and they took 25% of it! Not only that, I only had an overdafrt of 700 but those a**hole's are garnishing me for almost 2000 because of THIER attorney fee's which I dont think is very fair and I doubt they paid there lawyer 1300 for working on my account.... does anyone know if there's a way to get out of a garnishment, or if there's a way I can at least have the amount lowered?

    caller beware
Received a call today from Ken Jones which said I needed to call urgently to have my location placed in my files.  I found it strange that the call was left not indicating who they were trying to reach.  Sounds like this is a scam to me.  Beware!!!!!!!!!!  I won't be calling them back!!
