I too recieved a call from Scott, he left a voice mail.  So I returned the call and was put through to Gabriel.  As soon as he mentioned there was a application processing fee, I knew it was a scam.  There have been many of these types of companies that are preying on the unemployed and desperate people looking for legitimate jobs..... DO NOT PAY TO GET A JOB, IT IS A TOTAL SCAM!!!!!

I too received a call from 800-730-0791. A message was left by a guy named Scott. He said he had my resume and asked that I call back regarding an opportunity in pharmaceutical sales. I am currently unemployed and have been on MANY websites looking for work. After reading all of the other comments posted on this site .... I'll chalk this up to someone fishing for unsuspecting out-of-work targets!

I received a call from Scott on Tuesday ... same story as above but the call was from 800-729-5675.  Unfortunately I succumbed to the deal and when I checked my credit card today I was charged a whopping total of $97.90 ..... I didn't find this string of information on my initial Google search.  I feel like a big dope .. oh and by the way today when I returned home I found their package and the name on the material says American Technologies Network Corporation

Just wanted to correct something in my previous post the package I received today was NOT from this group.  Also, just called Certified Sales Jobs back and cancelled everything .. they did say that their package had already shipped but I can just return it and that they would credit my account back the money ... I'll give it a couple of days and see what happens.   ONCE AGAIN AMERICAN TECHNOLOGY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS SCAM

I have received the same call that they promise to have me interviewing in 2 weeks after I pay the $29.00 application screening fee; I have to take the myers briggs personality test.  I told the Caller Robert and Mark that I wanted to first check out their company before paying any such fee, and I do my dudiligence on companies who expect me to pay a fee.  Also it is never legal for a company to do a background check on you unless you first know who the company is and having an offer of employment.

the "representatives" ( called 3 times and got 3 different people)  were all too busy to answer common sense questions about their business but they were in a hurry to collect payment from me. The more i tried to get details, the faster i was hung up on.

Oh, yeah "scott" called me originally and then i talked to Chris who wasn't at all interested in following up with me to solidify my application for the background check fee at a near future date.

Got a call today from this dude.  He sounded quite legit, but I have been a head hunter myself in the past and noticed a few questions that were not quite right.  Then he asked for my credit card and the $29.  I said I needed to know more about them and what they were able to do.  He said look at their web site, which I pulled up and thought that is one of the worst web sites I have ever seen.  It had a button that said," Employers, cick here."  Yes, the misspelling was on the top of their web page "cick here."  By then he hung up on me.

I just got a similar call.  Interesting that they had my resume but wanted my email address and mailing address.  I was waiting for the inevitable cc request.  When it came, he wanted to send me info while online.  When it became clear I was googling them, he bailed out fast.

I received a voice mail from Robert.  Fishy from the start.  He did not say what company he was with in the voice mail.  I still returned the call bc like all people looking for a job now, we can use as much help as we can get.  I then spoke with Mike. They didn't offer any information about what companies they work with, collected all of my personal information and then tried to hard sell me the $29 myers briggs pre screen.  With no info about them, I had to tell them I would research them and call them back.  Thank goodness!  DON'T DO IT!! IT'S A SCAM!

I just got off the phone with Juan, who said that "Scott" had my resume and they had job opportunities for me in the pharmaceutical/medical sales industries.  I have been looking for work for months after 2 major surgeries and was very excited to find out that companies in the pharmaceutical/medical sales industry were interested in me for a potential job!  Wouldn't you be?  Anyhow, Juan goes on to ask a bunch of questions about me, such as my background in sales and my education and then goes on to tell me that I will be making six figures in no time!  Whoa!  I'm no stranger to that salary, but in these economic times as well as having been out of work for more than two years due to medical issues, I am no fool to believe that I will be making my old salary "IN NO TIME".  BIG RED FLAG!!!  Juan goes on to say that all I need to do in order to be eligible for the Myers Brigg pre-screening as well as the qualifications package and online personality profile is to give him either a credit card or debit card number for the one time payment of $29.  He goes on to say that once I am hired, the company that hires me will pay them for their services but that they must be paid for something up front.  RED FLAG #2!  I should have hung up at red flag #1, but I was curious as to how far this bozo would go.  I told him that before I would give him any money, I wanted to see the email and do a little research on their company, which he had a hard time telling me the name of in the beginning anyhow.  Once I said that, he immediately apologized for wasting my time and that he didn't think I'd be a fit for their services but would send me the company information in the event I changed my mind.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!  I find it sick that anyone would prey on the unemployed in the sad economic times we are in.  In addition, I've always been told that you NEVER pay $$$ upfront for anything!  If the company is legitimate, they will be paid by the company who hired them!  If you want to reach them immediately, Juan gave me this direct line: 888-224-6862.  We should all flood their lines with complaints and waste their time!!!

The number I received the phone call from is as follows:

I just received a call from a man named Chase from Certified Sales Jobs.  Sounded great but I do not ever remember posting my resume on Career Builder.  I said if he does have my resume then it was from awhile ago.  I asked him what was my last job on the resume.  He said he did not have it in front of him - THEN why are you calling me?  He said the screener has it.  I said why don't you go get it and call me back! In a previous job I was a recruiter for a company how do you call someone without their resume in front of you. Then yes, he asked for the $29.95 would I like to pay by credit or debit. I said seriously you called me I'm not going to just give you my cc information.  I said give me your website and contact phone number not the 800 number.  He wouldn't basically after that he said he would send me the information by email. SCAM!!! This is to bad because of all the people out of work and trying to find jobs they get their hopes up and might be willing to pay the $30 bucks in hopes of a great pharmaceutical career.

I got the same call today.  But fortunately I wouldnt give them a credit card.  I googled the company and found all the scams.  I reported them to fraud department at Career Builder and the Better Business Bureau.  They should be shut down.

They contacted me and scammed me for the 29.00 - and then see a charge for 97.90 on my credit card.  They have a web-site and it all looks legit, with job seeking advise, etc.  then you go to jobs in the area and they are outdated - red flag- wish I would have researched this.  Now disputing through my credit card company.
