Company claiming to have $25,000 cash prize. They don't readil I'd their company name and ask you for personal information up front

Company claiming to have $25,000 cash prize. ID showed private caller. Asked to call back at the 866 number.

I received a call from this exchange claiming the contest I entered I was a selected winner and to please call back for more information.

You could actually hear the old recording divice kick in...LOL. Claiming I had won a prize. Since I don't enter contest, it is most definitly a scam.

Same thing here ($25,000 cash drawing, etc.), I NEVER enter anything.   100% Scam.

Just received a call from a Private number with this number to call back.  Leaving voicemail as follows (speech-to-text here):

"Hi Bill Bentley here, with the Recovery Department, giving you a call In regards to the automatic entry that was submitted. Sometime back within the last year. I hopes of winning our 25,000 dollar cash give away. What would give aways officially over. We are looking at your phone number here and we have very good news for you to avoid putting your entry. You do need to give us a call back as soon as possible. Toll Free, 1(866) 826-0823 again. That's Toll Free, 1(866) 826-0823 We  need to hear from you as soon as possible and congratulations."

Unknown Name but the same as the above.  Left message for me to call back.  It isn't that cold yet!

This caller keeps leaving messages claiming I won $25,000 and no other details except that I call back.  I know it's a total scheme, not wasting my time with this.  I suggest you ignore it too!

Be smart, DON'T BE SCAMMED!!

Got the same message tried calling to say not to call again, didn't enter anything. No response.

On 03/24/2015 at 6.14PM CT got EXACTLY the same message as Shane - word for word.  Didn't call back due to suspicions of a scam.  Anymore I don't answer or return ANY calls from unfamiliar area codes including 800 numbers  as evidently all  "Do Not Call" lists I signed up for just don't work!

I got exactly what Shane wrote.  I am not planning on calling back. My caller ID said TOLL FREE.

I received the same message on my answering machine.  Called the number, it rang and rang and rang, then finally left a message on their answering machine.  Frank Hamilton called me from 239-349-4983.  He said he got my file, asked if I had talked with Marcia yet.  He could not release my prize until I talked with her.  I decided to ask him a few questions:  since you and Marcia work for the same company, can't you talk to her? What is your company website, where is the company located, what are you located, where is the address...  He didn't give an answer for any of the questions and finally hung up on me!

I just received the exact same voice mail as others posted. Seems like the latest scam to me.

Answered, no one was there. Robocall

I called back just to mess with them... Got a person. They asked for a name so i gave them a fake one and a zip. Put me on hold said he was pulling up my entry. Got back on the phone said he had it. Automatic entry form one of 3 stores Wal-Mart home depot or Lowe's. Asked if i paid with debit credit or check. I told hime check. He said look for a certified letter in the mail... I was waiting for him to ask for an address or account # or card #. Never did so i didn't get a chance to mess with him to much

We never reached anyone and we hung up.

Came through as "Private Caller"..
Won't be returning his call!

The message that was left on my voice mail is identical to the one that "RAD" included in his post. I will not be calling back after reading the comments posted here. Thank you.
