have left the number called on legal documents,
gave only that first or nick name, tel# and ext.,
and a file number for the person requested.

Received a call from a Mr. Taylor (x4773) wanting to verify information about my sister.  The name of the company is apparently "GC Services" though I cannot find any other information about them.  When I spoke with him, he wanted to know her address, home phone number, and employer's name.  He told me that she had listed me as a reference on an application.

Apparently this same person has been calling my friend looking to verify information me... says I used my friend as a reference too... but I have never used him as a reference.   I'm fairly sure that it's a bill collector trying to get info... so if this [***] calls anyone, hang up or give him false information.

Just wondering if you ever heard a follow up on this?   Did you verify that this is a job agency of some kind?     I'm very curious... but I'd bet my house on the fact that it's a collection agency.

Received call looking for someone I didn't know.  Gave a call back # and a case file.  Guess it's a collection agency.  Returned their call and asked to be taken off their calling list as I am not the person they are looking for.  Asked if they were a collection agency and was told they were a financial agency....don't believe them!!!!!

My personal information was given to this agency by another collections agency known as ECMC or Educational Credit Management Corporation in St. Pauls MN. They are a collections agency for federal student loans. I had two student loans that were in default and was at ECMC in St. Paul MN. However, to my dismay they never really tried to help me out of debt but did every thing possible to keep me longer in debt. I was with them for three years until I final said no more. I asked them for help to consolodate me to William D. Ford Direct Loans and when they found out that Direct Loans would help me out all of a sudden my account information without my permisson was given to this GC services. And also this year ECMC without telling offset my taxes for the amount of $2,149.00. I have been fighting with these people for the past three years to get out of debt and also from this horrible situation. ECMC claims that I am no longer with them. However, online on their account my account information still comes up but has the initials GC writen besides my information. I feel like a fly traped in their web and cannot get out. Is there any hope?

I have met my obligation to them and was told that my loan would go back to ECMC.  Still hasn't happened. They wanted my husband's info & everything.  Sent me 27 pages of paperwork to fill out, after I was on the phone with them for over an hour.  They are crap & ECMC should be ashamed of themselves.  One tries to get things straight & they just give you more problems.
