a mr. miller called from this number, very rude, and saying that "it was imperative" that i call back.

The caller knew my name, and said he was looking for my husband.  When I told him that my husband was not there, he said he was actually trying to get ahold of John Doe.  (John Doe was an old friend and roommate of my husband's about 15 years ago.) He said that John had filed an application with his company, but he couldn't read the phone number.  He said that John had listed my husband as someone who knew him, and he was hoping that he could get John's phone number from him.  He asked me if I had a phone number or address for John, and I told him I didn't, that he'd moved a few times, but that my husband might.  I told him that I'd take down his information and give it to my husband to call him back.  He gave his name as Sean/Shawn and said the company was Allied Interstate.  I asked if it was Allied Interstate anything else, thinking now that this might be a credit or collections type of call.  He said no, just Allied Interstate.  He gave me this number, and an extension (2237), and made sure that I wrote down a file # so that when my husband called back, they could pull up the right file.  I asked him to clarify what the call was about -- "so John applied with a job at your company?"  pause... he says, "Uh, yes, it's a business matter."  He was certainly polite enough, although a little probing and not honest as to why he was calling.  We will not be calling him back with any information.

Called during the day when no one was home, and left no message.

This Mr. Miller has been calling my job looking for me and won't leave any information, just the 866 839 1652 number ex 2313 and a ref number. When i called back, the number is for an apartment building and the ext is for an apartment, not commercial. It's a little creepy and i'm going to have a friend call and try to get the address to see what is this.

Received numerous calls from this number and they were looking for a payment a family members account, we spoke with Sean.  Our family member is out of the country and we do not know where but they are calling us to try and settle the account with them. They have no right to call us, we did not make this debt, but they want our money to finalize.  This is a credit collection firm and they are out of Buffalo, NY  We did not receive any billing from them, they said they had the account from my family member bank, but we had no proof of that, we received no billing from them. Never settle or pay a compnay this company states they are prepresenting without documentation and verfication from the company who the original bill was from.

I asked who he was and who we works for, and his reason for calling. He only answered one of the three questions. His name.

Received phone calls a couple times. Only once was a voice mail left.  Left a message and half way through sarcastically chuckled and said to refer to packing list # when calling.  Asked for someone who does not live here and has never had this phone number. Husband called them back and they tried to side step several times in not giving out their name.  My husband blatantly demanded what company this person worked for and he finally stated Allied Interstate.  My husband asked several times what this was in reference to, asked if this was in regards to a student loan debt and he said no.  We have instructed them twice now not to call us.  The person they are searching for does not live here.

I havr recived many messages on my voice mail. Today was the frist time I answered. Thet were asking for my mother in law. They told me she had left our number as a place of contact. Then I told him this was her sons residence. Then he proceded to ask if I could replay a message. I told him I don't see her often enough to remember to give it to her. My question is are they bill collectors. And do they look up the last name in the phone book and call.

Have continously been calling me. I don't owe anybody anything. Looked up Allied Interstate on the net. Its one of the worst collection agencies in the country. Even the CEO of the company was sued for illegal practices when it comes to the Fair Credit Act. Don't answer their calls. These people are nasty.

Calls from this company at my place of work are numerous. They somehow got the number of one of my relatives that I work with and called this person to reach me several times. I have no bill or documentation from this company. I have consulted a debt transfer company, Debt Clear, to address this matter. Messages from Allied Interstate are horrible. Paying you debt through Allied Interstate keeps them in business and you end up paying their extremely high debt collections fees on top of any amount owed. The practices of Allied Interstate have been viewed as illegal by the courts and it is not in the best interest of anyone to return their calls. Numerous consumer watchdog websites from a Google search will reveal the complaints and legal matters from this company.

This company called my mother's house some time earlier today (mid afternoon) when no one was home. They never identified the company (I found out the name by searching the number in Google), and only gave a name of the woman calling (Schozlowsky or something) and the phone number of Allied Interstate with an extension and, of course, a file number.

The truly off thing is they were calling her about gettin in touch with me, and I have not lived in my mother's house in over 2 years. Since that time, the most her number ever is is an emergency contact number at work or something, never a number for some issue like that. I don't know why they are trying to get in touch with me, but it seems fishy to me when they don't even get the right number - especially when my phone number is listed.

Calling My Mom Se She is 72 years old They are looking for my brother -in law. How they got her name and and his together, But they should not be going to that extremes to find any one I do not care how much money you owe. They can use the courts,

called at 8:15 AM. They leave no message. Just hang up. I agree with previous comments ... do not cooperate with them.

They called me and hung up on me so I called them back.  Allied Interstate, just like everybody else is saying.  The were looking for a Mui Trang.  Uh, I'm a white girl.  So obviously wrong number.  Maybe they just match the first letter of your first name of the person they are trying to find and just start calling.  Who knows.

Keep calling when they need to call my attourney who is handling Bankruptcy

I received about 4 calls tonight from this number.  It really agravated me that every time I answered, they hung up.  After reading these posts, I decided to call it back.  It was the same company as the others looking for someone who does not live here.  I requested that they remove my number from their system and that the DO NOT call my number again.  The gentleman on the line stated that my number has been removed from their system.  He was very polite.

My mother is been harrass every day from different persons calling her to her home saying that she owes a car...my mother is 80 years old, blind and has no car whatsover....she is sick and tired of been called every single day, night and midnight.  She get very nervous...so please I need to report this number...

These company keeps calling us looking for our ex son-in-law Brian. I have told them numerous times to remove our number from their list since we have no clue where he is. Our daughter divorced him in 1999--not soon enough--.

I have asked them numerous times to remove our number from their list since we can not help.  They have assured us that it would be done and effective within 48 hous.  This never happened and they keep calling. It's getting to the point where we feel threatened.  We are elderlies and retired and it's scary to constantly get these hangup phone calls.

 We have always paid our bills on time, therefore we should not have to deal with anyone elses irresponsability.

This caller calls me at least 4 times a day.. I don't answer.
