just got the same one- no message- really a pain when you jump out of the shower to answer

I have received a pair of phone calls from this number over the last 12 days - I do not pick up.  It bothers me that someone keeps calling my cell phone.  Does anyone know who this is?  I also do not receive a message.

Same story here i belive you can register with the "National do not call registry" then file a complaint.I think this number is a hoax.Be careful if you get someone during regular business hours.Dont give your personal info out.

I came back from vacation and found 3 calls from this # on my work phone log.

I'll definitely not bother calling them back, nor will I answer a call from them.

I am getting threats all the time from horror author, John Saul. He says he has a group which his hires from books he stole off of me to  harrass me and keep me in fear and feeling controlled. They are threatening me regularly. Today someone began calling from this number and hanging up. Right after a guy phoned from New York named Daniel Easten. This D Easten guy used to hang out at the horror author. They tell me it's a conspiracy. They say these are powerful atheist people who are coming for me. It's really weird and unheard of. I can't believe the people I've met. There is a responsible party. John Saul. I know for a fact it is he and his gay lover.

I know for a fact it is he and his gay lover.He told me online that he does all the strange things to kids you read about in his books. If you look on the back of the book there is a labyrinth. Look at the site for Pans Labryrinth. Both stories feature child torture, murder, rape, sacrfice to the devil and preying on fear. I met him years ago at a writers conference. He is still preying on my fear. The Maui Writers Conference knows about this person and his crimes and they haven't prevented him from attending. They don't really seem to care. They told me to run. They said he brings them lots of business. He told me I am not the first. He said there were many before me. Thanks!!

I received another call today - does anyone know who it is or how to block it?

WE too have been getting calls for the last 5 days. Just pick it up and they hang up. Wonder if it is a machine. If we all lived in the same area, it might be a way to see if people are home to plan robberies, but I doubt that.

I got this message AGAIN today and I am getting tired of this. I have tried to get info on this number but have not been able to get any info.

Reveived a call last night from this number.  I called them back a lady stated they were just checking my phone and card to make sure it was working.  I asked her if they were associated with any wireless phone companies and she stated no.  Told her to immediately take my number out of their database.  When she told me it would take a couple of days I told her wrong answer, remove it now, and hung up.

I received a call from 866-841-7507 on my cell but fortunately I had missed the call.  I punched it in Google because I didn't recognize it, and I found this site.  I'm in the 805 area code.  I'm not sure where anyone else is at, but the central coast of California is where that number called me this evening.

I'll not bother answering if I receive another call.

Just calls and won't leave a message on the answering machine.

I just started receiving calls from this number at work over the weekend.  I had a similar problem (from caller ID "The Learning Center", (269) 537-2097) at my residence a couple months ago.  I tried calling the number to tell them to quit calling, but calls were only answered by machine - couldn't reach a real person.  

I got my phone service provider involved and they got them stopped almost immediately.  Further they said,if they didn't stop, please call the Annoyance Call Bureau at 1-800-348-8727.  Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, CST. (For those in the AT&T (formerly SBC) upper mid-west, at least).

I've received 4 calls from this number on my cell phone in the last 11 days.  I've never answered and they've never left a message.  So just now I called the number and a woman answered.  She told me that all calls received from this number were courtesy calls from a cellular service most likely regarding promotions.  I asked if she could make them stop calling me.  She took my number and told me she would take care of it.  We'll see.

I've received about the same number of call as Michele. I finally called back, and she said it was a courtesy call and that there was nothing they needed. However, they did put me on hold for a minute or two, which makes me leary if they are tracking my information. Maybe I've seen one too many FBI movies.
Has anyone had any problems with their phone account after this?

I have received 4 calls from this same number on my cell phone in the last 12 days.  I've never answered it because I didn't recognize the number and don't know why a toll free number would be calling me.  Usually it just rings once or twice and then stops.  I then decided to Google it and see what turns up and I found this.  I'm on verizon, and all I got was an automated and unhelpful message.  However, on the FTC website, it says that telemarketers won't call cell phones.  So I think I'm going to write a complaint to the FTC about this number.
