I rec'd two calls today.  They don't leave a message.  I'm on a Do Not Call list but apparently that doesn't make any difference.

I receive calls from this number often,and as late as 9:45 my number is on the no call list .

Get a call from this number every day.  Rings 2 times and then hangs up.  No name listed on Caller ID, Just the number.

Caller lets the phone ring 3 or 4 times, don't know who it is, just says 800 Service, 1-866-842-1465. The phone doesn't ring long enough for them to leave a message, but they sure are a pain.  Have received calls as early as 8:30 in the a.m. and as late as 7 p.m.

This number and a few others all saying 800 Service are
harassing me with calls every day. Rings 2x and then they hang up.
Who are they and what is their point.

Collection Agency passing off as a Vet. Charity in an attempt to collect a debt. Calls started a week ago and they call 3-4 x's a day from several numbers...

received more than 5 calls a day from this number 866-842-1465 no answer and you call back, no one answer.

Guy claimed to be calling on behalf of some (garbled) disabled vet organization in (used my town name in Massachusetts) and was seeking a donation.  I cut the call off - as diplomatically as possible, which means I interrupted with, "I can't help you, thanks," and hung quietly up.

Receiving about six calls a day from these people - one told me they'd place me on a Do Not Call list and one just kept pretending he couldn't hear me until I stopped speaking and then he would start nagging at me. Who is this?????!!!!

Received a call tonight and as mentioned in the prior posts, only the number shows up in caller ID.

I recall being told that you should ask the caller to hold and then put the phone down and walk away or let them listen to the radio or TV.  Keep them hanging on the phone for as long as possible but do not engage them in any conversation. This consumes their time which is not what they want.  

The other tatic is to engage them in your sob story - make it up and do not let them get a word in edgewise.  Same strategy - waste as much of their time as possible.

They need to hit as many people as possible and you slowed them down.  Fight back!

Received call from this number claiming to be an 800 Service, immediately after completing the activation process for a Visa card.

Just got a call from this number -- didn't nnswer -- they didn't leave a message -- but my solution --
a couple months back I bought a new cordless Panasonic phone -- has a call block feature on it -- doesnt cost a dime like it would through the phone companies -- is WONDERFUL!!!!  It checks all calls coming in -- if it is on the call block list -- on the callers side they will hear one ring, a busy signal and then hang up.  It will continue to show on the caller id but has an icon showing that it is a blocked number, phone capable of 30 numbers blocked!!!!  LOVE IT - LOVE IT -- and I'm not a Panasonic or Radio Shack employee -- just a person tired of all the nuisance calls like everyone else -- I too am on the do not call list -- sometimes I think they make money for the government and sell all our numbers!!!!!

Got a call just a few minutes ago from this number. I let it go to the answering machine, they didn't leave a message.

Calls over and over during the day. Sometimes they try and use different numbers, but are all coming from the same people. The don't give up even when you never answer their calls, which we never will.

Again and again...STOP already....the government should do something.....enough
is enough already......

They are looking for donations to their organization.
