Received three calls today on my cell phone: at 5.40am, 7.00am and 9am. My cell phone was turned off so the calls did not wake me up but who would call at this time? I did not receive any voice mail notifications, so I assume there aren't any...  

This phone number showed up on my caller ID, but no message was left on my voice-mail.  When I tried to call the # back, I got a recording stating that if no message was left on my voice-mail, they would try calling back (gee, what a joy!).  It further stated that if I didn't want to receive further calls from them, then I should leave my # after the beep.  I didn't leave my #...that's like leaving the door open for more calls!  There was no mention of the name of this company.

Seems to be Xpedite. They mention this number in the privacy policy on their site.

They left message (taped) adverising that Rent A Center was hiring.  Told to go to RACcareers.com.  Called me at 11:06 AM Sunday morning

This number called my cell phone twice in a row, but I didn't answer as I didn't recognize the number. They left no voice mail.

This number called me this afternoon around 11 and it rang and rang.  We don't have an answering machine, so I finally picked up the phone and hung up on them.  We don't answer numbers where we don't know the number.

I just got a call from this number.  It's 11 am on Easter Sunday and I just got this phone number three days ago.  I found another web-site that claims this number is linked to some automobile claims company for people who have past unpaid parking tickets.  I've never had any parking tickets so I know it's not that.  I hate these people.  I want their home numbers so I can call them all day and night.

OK, if any of you have posted a resume with monster, career search, yahoo jobs or any other job site, that's why they may be calling you.  Xpedite is a company hired out by other companies to do their calling for them.  They have thousands of clients so they could be calling for any reason.  I just answered their second call in 20 minutes and it was for Rent-a-Center careers. Great, I wonder how many other calls I'm going to get now.

I received a cell phone call today and when I answered it there was a recording "sorry, this call was intended for an answering machine.  Please disregard this call".  This needs to stop.

I called ATT Annoyance call bureau 800-348-8727... nice idea, but they do nothing.

Called 1-888-225-5322 at FCC and after 10 minutes of recordings got nothing and nowhere.

The bad news is: businesses are fair game for telemarketers unless you can expressly tell them not to call you.

Seems in my area, this is the number the blood bank is calling from.  HE REALLY NEEDS BLOOD... or something like that.
I gave blood about 3 months ago and they say you can give every 57 (?) days.  That's about when these calls started.

The number showed up on my caller ID.  No one there when I picked up.
Question:  Why should I get on their no call list when I'm on the federal do not call list?   Are they above the law?

I didn't even answer the phone as these folks have been a pain in the past as well.

This number called my home at 7 AM! I tried calling it back and it just said it was a voice message system and to hang up because they will be calling back another time. How is this legal; they don't even say who they are! I am sick of all these weird numbers calling my home...

Received a call from this number Friday afternoon after I closed up shop. I called it tonight (Saturday). It picked up with a message from the "Voice Messaging System".

In the menu there was an option to have my number blocked from being called again (press 1). It then stated it would take 1 business day to process the block and that further calls may happen until the block gets processed and takes effect.

The menu then said "Thank You" and disconnected.

Got a call from this # on my cell phone while working today. I answered too late and then received a voicemail about esxpired baby formula being sold at a local grocery store. I just wasted a precious any-time minute (which my carrier charges me quite a bit for) on something that has no value to me and is not even pertinent to anything I am or will be doing. I tried to call the number back to have them take me off the list and all I get is a busy signal. There goes another any-time minute. FRUSTRATING. Is there anything else I can do- besides writing a snail mail letter that has no 'audit trail'?
