Well, if you're talking about actually COMMITTING FRAUD - by knowingly and continuously writing checks when you know there's no money to cover said checks, yes, you can be arrested for this.  However, if you don't pay on a loan you owe, that is NOT CHECK FRAUD, and is a civil matter!

Thanks for that info on false debt collectors and their scare tactics.  These same people gave me a call at my former employer and after investigating I found out where the call and who the actual fake parties were.  Bottom Dollar has these phony telemarketers claiming to be investigators with a fake receptionist that claimed to be an assistant whom three-way a call with this IDIOT on the phone that turns around and calls from an (813) area code.  Please get a life and stay out of mines.  I have hired an attorney and will be suing BD aka VD for a false allegation of a fake loan that these idiots claim is a fraudulent check for thousands of dollars.

this is a bogus piece of bottomfeeding garbage,and anybody who posted shill posts has a reservation to boil in the seventh circle one sweet day.here is my story.five days in a row last week some mutated nub called.same time each day and left the same cryptic message except he changed his title each time.first he was a process server.then an investigator.the funny part is he gave five diffrent bogus case numbers.i looked into these as i research whenever bottomfeeding slime call.bottomline this is a scamming,bottomfeeding piece of dirt that needs to be reported asap.to your police as the calls break the law.then to your AG.most if not all online lenders are illegal meaning they have no license whatsoever,and therefore the derth of bottmfeeding scum who rely on illegal scare tactics are many.to close if bottomfeeding trash calls.research thoroughly.as stated by 12x6 debts are civil matters and check fraud doesn't apply to pdl's as each state regulates that differently and criminal action is prohibited.hope this helps

Got a call from this number also identifying themselves as "Investigator Anderson" This I believe is a 3rd party debt collector. You can't go to jail for not paying your debts, it is a civil matter if it would be persued. When I called them back, they would not give me their address nor will they provide me with written verification of this so called owed debt.  They are not legit, just scum low life 3rd party debt collectors who had purchased the debt for pennies and now want to make a profit.

Can you provide one shred of evidence that she owes a cent for anything?  You can't, can you.  You are an illiterate keyboard warrior that cannot express themselves in proper English so you stoop to profanities.
