Capital Accounts

Said it was imperative that the call be returned today but never said who the call was for.

A man by the name Chris Smith said he could work with us if WHOEVER
returned his call today.  He never mentioned who he was trying to contact.  This information is very important if your going to leave a message like that! (sounding so demanding)

same number
very annoyed tone
i called back and got no company name, only classical music (pachabel's canon)

Chris left garbled message about some plan to scam someone if they call in time. Bogus Company at other end of the line. Call originated in Vegas, which makes it even more of a scam!

Much the same as above. Chris Smith, said he's trying to work with us on....long silence and pause...then apologizes and says he'll have that info when we call him back, and it's imperative we call today by 6 central and reiterates he's trying to work with us on this, but never offers what "this" is or who he represents. Caller ID of 702-987-4858, but gave call back # of 866-854-5359

Ours was named Greg Williams and he had some good news for us! So it's either a scam or a bill collector because he left no company name and never asked to speak with anyone! Just "This is Greg Williams and i have some good news for you! Call me at 866-854-5359" Like I know who the hell Greg Williams is!

Same for me as Above pissd off. I just cut and pasted the comments because of exact scenario, caller was named Greg Williams and he had some good news for us! So it's either a scam or a bill collector because he left no company name and never asked to speak with anyone! Just "This is Greg Williams and i have some good news for you! Call me at 866-854-5359" Like I know who the hell Greg Williams is! i received another call same number and call was named chris smith. I think his real name is J.O.

First, let me tell you all "Thanks!" read below and I'll tell you why.
 How odd.. I got here because of a letter telling me I owed money to the The Dental Health Center. The letter came with a phone number to call 1-866-854-5359 and pay with credit card. the only thing is that it seemed odd. I've been covered by health insur. all my life. So I did some checking.
First, The company that is said to be handing this is called "Capital Accounts" (Or, oddly enough, CapitalAccounts according to the letterhead) and based in Nashville TN. But I never found any company by that name there. Second, a friend of mine in the phone bussiness says that the phone number is routed in China! (my friend warns me it might not mean anything. A lot of companies are doing that now, although my friend couldn't find any trace of this company with the numbers.
Third; I also got the "Good news!" phone call a few days ago but didn't answer it because I didn't know the person. Thanks everyone. If I had called that number I would have been charged a great deal (according to 411).
Well, I'm not going to stand for it. I worked for the FBI once, and while I may not be in it anymore they still owe me favors. this is mail fruad now, and I know some other people that can help (they were the reason I had to leave the FBI; they're not very nice..) I'm sick of these [***], and I'm going to make them pay.

A quick P.S:
 I just spent the last hour looking for "Capital Accounts" and couldn't find a trace. Called friend at the FBI, and for some odd reason he had a website right at his fingertips. He refused to tell me why, but he knows damn well that the fact that he can't tell me anything says it all. i guess they're looking at them closely too. Anyway, here's the website for "Capital Accounts" but be careful. my AOL failed while I was on there, and well, well, I get a phone call from our "friends" at the same time!. be sure to check for adware and bugs afterwards

Got the same kind of call - two, actually (back to back).  First was a message from Chris Smith and he did the pause then say he's sorry and he'll have the information when I call back.  He just said he's "trying to work with me" and since I've never spoken with him, I don't see how he's trying anything??  Called the number back and got the classical music hold then Greg Williams picked up.  I hung up because I didn't want to be charged for the call.

Just got three calls within 20 minutes to the personal line at my business.  This number has only been able to be used for "regular" calls since this time yesterday.  Before that it was one of the outbound numbers for our fire alarm system.  All three people were asking for the same person.  When I hit *69 and returned the call, a person answered saying she was with "The Northland Group" and they were handling a personal matter for someone named "Mitzi".  Everyone who called as well as the person who took my call all were very rude.

This is greg williams I have some very good news for you it is very important you return my call @ 866-854-5359. This message is on my phone. Buisness line, home phone, and cell phones every day 3 times a day. where do I take this so it will stop?

Got call from Carlos Garcia at work. Said he was collecting for doctor's office. Asked for him to send all correspondence through mail and that I was requesting he not call me at work again. He said I was wasting his time and he was going to keep calling me and then hung up. I called him back around 10 times to get a manager or find out who he worked for. He told me I was harassing him and that he was recording our call. When I called back again a different person answered and told me they were Capital Accounts. Never got through to a manager.

Greg Williams is an [***]. He won't even identify who he works for...so no trust from the outset of the call. How can we be sure he isn't a scam artist taking advantage?

have been recieving calls from this number for a while now and they will not say who it is for or what it is for. sometimes it is automated others its say Chris Smith.
