this is the 4th time I have received a call. What I want to know is who this number belongs to and if they have to call 4 times why are they not leaving messages.....

called left no message - who is it?

i got this number again...1-866-858-7429..can somebody tell me how i can stop getting calls from this number? is there anything i can do ?

From what I have found online, this is from Shaw a Calgary company that provides internet/cable/phone.

They are calling me every hour for the last week, I refuse to answer toll free numbers and they never leave messages.

This is Shaw Cable.  They seem to use the same outbound number for their customer service and their telemarketing? The telemarketing side is trying to get people to sign up for their cable internet service (at least this time that I talked to them).  If they had an issue with your billing or whatever, they would have left a message.

I called the number and asked not to be called.  I stated that I did not want their telephone or internet connection if that was what was required to get the calls to stop.  Hope it works! I have an office at home and this is most annoying and turns me right off Shaw. I don't even have an account with them, so they must be using a service data base to get the phone numbers.

I'm normally not at home on a Tuesday afternoon, but I received a call today from 858-7429. I picked up on the 2nd ring, said "Hello", and heard silence, then what sounded like some rattling a hard candy around in their mouth. Then, a second later, they hung up.

Called back, and got a Shaw recording telling me to select a number for either Fort Macmurray, Winnipeg, Thunder Bay or Calgary. A peculiar form of  marketing, for sure...

Get numerous calls a day.  I want the callers home number.

Several unwanted calls a week.  Need the callers homenumber.  They tell you to call 866-449-4430 to be removed from the list, but nobody ever answers.  Whoever they are I will NEVER buy anything from them EVER.

Didn't answer, no message left on answering serivce.

I  am really annoyed with these Shaw people calling.I never answer the Calls.Some days i recieve 10 calls a day.If i dont see whos calling i never answer.Maybe they  could remember we do have a post office and could mail us there advertising, so we could dump in the garbage and not be bugged by there peristant calls.

get 4 calls a day-for many months-never answered as don't want marketing calls. I am a shaw customer with no  reason for them to call me, if that's who it is. How can I make it stop?

Several calls this week from Mr or Mrs PXCLID NAME at 18668587429, including one just now.  When we say hello, there is no sound; no message is left.

It would be helpful to find a way to get these stopped.

Try using *60 to block the Phone Number from getting through should work. I too have been called three times already. I was home for the third time and answered but the "Computer" on the other end hung up after I said "Hello". Maybe they're testing the line for the upcoming dialling 10 digits, I don't know.

  Not annoyed but curious as to what's going on

My call display said PXCLID and the phone number was 866-858-7429.When I called it back, I got Shaw. They put me through to an Engineer who said it was Shaw's network auto-dialer checking to make sure my digital phone service was working properly. They said it will do this occasionally, and to just ignore it.
