- Steve| 1 replyI received two texts as well from this company. And seems only att and tmobile customers have this problem being charged although they never signed up. I was told to contact BBB from my cell carrier and report them. Stop the fraud!!! You and anyone you know do the same. Or better yet put a content download block on your cell and it will take care of everything. This is a company who just randomly gets your number either through att or tmobile and signs you up to help make them money in a pyramid commission based things i am sure of it. So be sure and check you bills att and tmobile for all of this cause it may be happening right under your nose.

- Margaret| 1 replyReceived 2 text messages from this number. Called and asked them to remove my number. They will ask for your name......DON'T GIVE IT TO THEM - THEY DON'T NEED TO KNOW WHO YOU ARE. Just a note - check your cell phone bills, they may still try to charge the $9.99 fee.

- Jake replies to MargaretHow do you get them to stop? If you send a text with "stop" will they actually stop? I don't want to incur more charges. I think I replied cancel the first time and it obviously didn't work because its on my tmobile bill. Any advice on the best way to get this taken care of?
Thanks!
- TammyJust recieved text: mobchance: welcome to IQ! For help call 18668611606 $9.99/ mo. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. Msg&Data Rates May Apply I did not sign up for this in the first place! I replied stop and then checked the balance on my prepaid cell phone and they had indeed charged me 9.99!!!! When I called the number the idiot who answered informed me that in order to apply for a refund I had to fax my phone records to them. I told him that he did not need my phone records to steal the money off my phone in the first place and he didn't need them to put it back. I then asked to speak to his supervisor and was informed (rather rudely) that there wasn't one there at this hour (12:30 am) I informed him that if they had somebody there to steal your money this late then they should have a manager there to deal with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be contacted them again in the morning and also my cell phone provider (AT&T). THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- AlI've been spammed by this phone number in the form of texts 3 times in one day! What is this crap?? A new way for companies to bypass the no-call list?
- janice replies to Biancai recieved a text from this same number and have no idea how i got on their list either. I've had several others charging to my At&t phone bill. The phone co said to text back saying"stop" which stops ongoing billing. But even though I haven't signed up for this,I am getting billed from these places.
- caryhotext spam for someone calling themselves brain cool IQ.
- caryhoslamming people's cell numbers by signing up for a service without permission. $9.99 per month charge will appear on your cell bill if you don't get your cell phone company to remove it. Company has a private registration on their web site domain, braincooliq.com, that was created Dec-7-2011

- TACOThis is an inside job. I sent Verizon a question on their website (official web form) and was called back by what appeared to be their REAL service number (1-800-922-0204). They left a message saying to give them a call back. I opened the RECENT CALLS section on my phone and hit CALL. it connected me to a Mobile Help company, not Verizon. I spoke with a guy who seemed to not know a lot and asked me questions he should have known. It didn't sound legit so I didn't give him any real info (account number, passcode,...) all he had was my cell number. He told me to email my bill to support@ihelpmobile.com. I hung up and didn't do that. I thought "that guy didn't seem right" so I looked at my recent OUT CALLS. The number that dialed was 866-861-1606. The same number that sent me the $9.99 charge! Somehow they intercepted the web form question to Verizon customer service and called me back with their real number hidden... it showed on my phone as the real Verizon number! I then called the real Verizon number. I actually entered the 800-922-0204 on the keypad and was connected to Verizon. Do not respond to the 866-861-1606 number or hit the CALLBACK button to Verizon if they call you. Open your dial pad and type it in. Verizon is blocking all premium messages on my phone and crediting back the $9.99.
