VISA Fraud Protection Services...? Called me once yesterday and 4 times so far today.

calls from this number over 7 times today.  They let it ring and ring .

It is VISA Fraud Protection.  They call when your VISA card has any charge that they feel may be suspicious.  They call to ask if it was in fact you that made the charge or charges. I just had this happen to me.  I purchased from several on line stores very early one morning before work.  That triggered a phone call to me to verify if the charges were made by me.

Just rec'd a call from this number... I paid my cell phone bill using ATT's iPhone app, then paid my son's cell bill using the same app right afterward, as he is jobless at the moment. It may appear suspicious to them.

Not really Visa fraud protection, it's a scam. Think about it: Would Visa ask you to give them your card #? They would already know it.

Had a call from them today. It was with regards to my bank card which has a visa logo on it. I called my bank and asked for visa's number and this is number they gave me. So it's legitimate. I have National Penn Bank, so maybe the number for visa fraud is different per bank. Turns out out someone really had stolen my card number. So moral of the story, not everyone calling you is a scammer. But be sure to verify with another source before sharing sensitive information over the phone.

They keep calling (automated) annoying me, looking for someone who apparently had my cell number 3 years before.   The only time there was a connection to a human, they were told that Shaun or Shane, or whoever they're looking for is unknown to me and/or my family.    Please quit calling.  

It is a legitimate Visa Fraud Protection call.  For us it was for National Penn Bank.  They called within minutes of a suspicious transaction to verify it.
