Got a message. The caller demanded a call back but no names were provided. I am not even sure this message was meant for me.

Got vague messages to call back.  I finally called back and asked where I was calling, the operator said NARS.  I asked a bunch of questions and the phone operator would not give me any any other information than NARS.  Kept asking me if I knew a person.  Before saying "yes," I asked more questions and the operator got rude and hung up on me.

Women with heavy Indian accents keep calling me at work to say I must "definitely call back today". Today it was "imperative that I call  back today". I don't return calls when they do not bother to tell me where they are calling from. I also called back and operator said NARS. I don't know what NARS is. Too bad thick accent Indian lady, you can keep calling all you want.

Some Indian guy with a thick accent called me at work. It was a collection agency, I guess. I could hardly understand him. I told him that I know he is not allowed to call me at work if I tell him not to. He said that I needed to call him tommorrow if I wanted to stop recieving calls.

NARS is National Asset Recovery Service, a collection agency. I've been getting calls from them regarding a Target store credit card issue.

Reeceived call this morning - female - thick accent - spoke so fast I had to replay message 4 times. Called number - different female same ambigious responce -

I believe these guys are a collection agency for Target Stores.  The accent sounds Jamaican / West Indian.  Caller ID says National Asset Recovery. They also go by the name LOGS (http://www.logs.com/services/collections/index.html). They even called my Cell Phone.  They also call from (636) 530-7985.  They are extremely rude!

NARS - National Asset Recovery Service - is a collections agency.  I had a great deal of trouble with them a while ago when they kept harassing me about an account owed by the previous tenant of my apartment.  This is a new phone number, so they got it through an address lookup rather than on the credit application as they claimed.  I eventually had to send them a written demand by certified mail, threatening legal action if the calls did not stop, before they eventually left me alone.  Actually, it wasn't until I called their corporate headquarters, asking about why I had continued to receive calls AFTER I had the certified mail receipt in my hand that the calls stopped.

Their corporate offices are in Missouri, but they have call centers in Panama and Jamaica, presumably in order to get around legal regulations about misrepresentation and who and how they're allowed to call on the phone.  

Good luck getting rid of them - you'll need it.

I got a call tonight at my job, Target. They told the phone operator that they were a collection agency called Nars. Our store operator right off the bat told her that it was ilegal to call someones place of work and if they called again she would report them. The funny thing is that for once I have all my bills up to date.

Received a call from them about 10 minutes ago...about a non-existent Target account demanding $25.00 to clear up on overdue payment due on the 23rd. I am a secondary on a friend's card, but that one's paid up and on time. I have the feeling it's a total crock and a fraud...it was like pulling teeth to get them to give me their phone number and look where that takes me... Strangely comforting that I'm not alone. Either that or I'm a victim of identity theft....

I keep getting calls from this company and everytime they ask for the person, I tell them there is no one by that name at this number. Doesn't seem to matter, they just keep calling and calling.

I have a company cell and get a call from this number almost daily. Since I don't recognize the number - I never answer it.

They call my phone number about 4 times a week.  The person they want is C.L. I do not know anything about her, and I've never seen her. They got my number somehow, so if they call again, I will seek legal action. This was a white female woman that called me today, she only said this is NARS when I called back.

The women had my direct line at work,had my correct first name but not the same last name. Then proceeded to ask my SSN# when I told her 'no way' she asked why I was getting mad. Told me to pay my Target card which I stated I never had a Target card.

I asked for her SSN# then and she got more upset.

Are these people pulling names from a hat....???

These people keep calling my cell phone and asking for my girl friend. They called my cell like 30 or 40 times in the past month Harassing me about my girl friend. i told the stupid Indian [***] to stop calling me or i will report the company that she works with. so yeah here i am writing a report  about the company that keeps calling my cell

They calle dto day my leave no information only that they would like me to return a phone call to them. Strong India accent.

There was no message, but on my callerid it showed that number, and when I called that number, the represenative asked for a different name other than myself.

I have a number of calls on my answering machine stating "It is important that you call me at 1-866-869-5502".  After about 8 messages I call the number, got a foreign sounding operator who would not give me any information other than the company was NORDS (NARS).  She asked me for my telephone number which I did not give and then for my name which I also did not give.  I finally told her that this sounded like a complete scam and hung up.  I plan to report them to the FTC as I am on the do not call list.
