They are Winham Professional Associates a debt collector. They contacted our business line repeatedly and have been asked to stop. They have also called phone numbers belonging to non relatives that they were able to find by doing an address search. They cannot call you at work or a number other than one in your name. Doing so is against Federal law and possibly local depending on where you live.  I contacted a credit attorney law firm. The calls stopped, the account got closed and I got $1000 in damages becasue of their harrassment.

Know your rights apparently these companies do not.

Theyve been calling me at work since March. Have been told numerous times by my supervisor to stop calling. What attorney did you use?

The number is from a company called "Wynham Professionals" and they are a debt collection agency that is looking for a friend or relative that used you as a reference.

They've been calling me on my cell phone for two full years - weekly. There have been weeks that they've called me daily. There is a 40-year age difference between the person they're looking for and myself, and I tell them to stop calling and they continue.

I've been called by this number numerous times. I never answer but they consistently call almost daily. It's really annoying. This number as well as 855-267-6942 have called me several times. I've never answered but I've gotten voicemails asking for an Alex Wardinger (sp?) saying they have important confidential information, or else they've acted like they know me and trying to call them back.

they calll all hours even on my home phone and cell phone number . my cell phone number was never given to them or anyone connected to this debt it is only used in emergency situations or with family and friends, I called American Education and they tell me they are not using a collection company so im confused as to why this collection company keeps calling on their behalf. Ive asked them not to call yet the calls still persist, I am diabled and not able to make any payments at this time but was making payments on a regular basis when able. I am aware of this debt and i am not trying to not pay it, I had to file bankruptcy and lost my home and everything. I will continue payments as I am able, I do not wish to be harrassed night and day on both phone lines by this collection company it is stressful and i am a diabetic and do not need the added stress., Thank you.

8668713281 keeps calling my house looking for someone who doesn't live here. I've spoke with them and requested to be removed...still calling. So ridiculous.

Repeated Hang-Ups.

call me repeatedly stating they are Windham Professionals.  I have no idea who the person is that they are looking for.

They called me repeatedly looking for another person, every time I tell them that she doesn't have this number. The last time that they called The guy told Me he was from Verizon (my cellphone carrier) and threatened to have my line disconnected because she supposedly had my number to. I called Verizon to see what was going on with my account. To which I was informed that the person calling Me was a Verizon employee and they blocked the number for Me... it's ridiculous how harassing these people can be!

They are calling my office number and I have filed numerous FCC complaints against them as well but they do NOT follow rules. What is the attorney's name that got you damages SC? If we call them back they get up mad and won't work with us. I have health issues and barely make $25,000 what do they expect me to do. My numbers are on the DO NOT CALL List but no one makes sure these companies are actually following the rules. They need to be stopped and fined. Stop HARRASSING ME!!

I hate to be the devils advocate here, but the bottom line is you owe a debt. I understand you think it's harassment, believe me, they've been calling me over a 6 year old debt that the bank lost, then I moved and the bank couldn't find me. Either way, I owe the debt and I have to pay. Regardless of your financial situation, you still signed a contract to pay, and if you don't, depending on your state laws, they can obtain a judgment, hit your bank account, sheriff sale your belongings, garnish your wages... And guess what, educational loans are not dischargeable in bankruptcy, so I would suggest making some kind of repayment arrangement.  Don't be foolish and jump on the 'harassment' bandwagon unless you do not owe the debt. You gave them the right to contact you by any means possible when you took their money. I'm just saying' trying to help.

The called called me a "filthy cocksu*ker". I said "it takes one to know one".

Multiple calls per week for someone who is not and never has been at this number. I've told them multiple times to stop calling and that they have the wrong number but so far it hasn't worked. Today I just had my carrier block the number because my name isn't Michael and I don't owe any debt to anyone and seriously, if I tell you that you have the wrong number you need to listen and stop [***] calling me.

I owe nothing, and just recently received this number. I have never cosigned anything, and have never heard of the person they are looking for. Are you really the devil's advocate, or do you work for them? They DO "harass" people because they sit behind a phone and computer and dial numbers that are outdated on the internet. If they stepped out of their office once in a while to follow up on these things, they would realize they are calling the wrong people.

I received a call from Lindsay at this telephone number. When I tried to call back and didn't have her extension number, it says an associate will be with me shortly and then it doesn't go anywhere but the call hangs up. This has happened several times. I have no idea what they are calling in reference to.

The bottom line is, they are harassing people, and they are NOT allowed to do that, by law. Whether someone owes a debt or not, this company DOES NOT have the right to harass them, nor call them at work.

Missed the call. But I have no debt, so obviously the wrong #.
