- jenThey called today and I answered. It just said are u or someone u know having debt problems, getting tired of collectors calling,? It was automated and I just hung up.
- terrymazNew Brunswick frequent calls no message,
my 2 cents worth:
With the frequency of telemarketers,
never answer unfamiliar or unlisted numbers, telemarketers, and scams, many using ghost numbers untraceable never stop phoning, ( have tried some, tel-co recording this number cannot be traced)
I get 20 unsolicited calls for each call 1 get for myself but its probably closer to 30.
Telephone companies will never stop until they they become obsolete.
Unless they come up with some the better voip phones that have quality call management systems which can block or redirect known and unknown or unwanted callers, and prevent phone from ringing.
or Government should simplify thing by forcing tel-co to have a (*xx) number, that immediately adds a charge to the caller an amount which makes prohibited . law should make part of that amount payable to them a tax in short, to deserving corporation, Park your car a foot out place see if you don't get a ticket, IE. a tax
Will it become necessary for someone need to here important message several days or weeks later, will someone life or safety be endangered simply because now its the norm that phone calls are not worth crossing room to check.- Caller: unknown dont care
- eagle 10automated message - I'm in Alberta and I'm also on the DNC list
- Call type: Telemarketer
- toniGot a call from this # this morning - "unknown name" - didn't answer - never answer any "unknowns". I'm in Alberta too. I'm so sick of getting all these unknowns - probably up to almost 20 now over the past few months. The Gov't really needs to step up and put a stop to these harassing calls.
- saskCredit help people, they left a voice mail to that effect
- IceblueI received a call from this number 866-873-6222 was late picking it up heard part of the slime message then my fax kicked out a report with the number on it.
I would really like to see some exceptionally heavy fines for this kind of molestation and maybe even 60 days in jail- Caller: Unknown only got name

- MoFoNot a good number to pick up to, just another scam company trolling for credit card numbers in a hoax to help you lower your debt or payments. All lies. Do not believe this call. They are after your money to put you deeper in debt. They can not help you. The call came from a machine that trolls numbers that work till someone answers. They have no soul. The company is evil and you should know this, it is another scam. Unfortunately our own telephone companies help these guys exist all for money they make, you can never ban this call because the phone companies refuse to do that.

- TerriI have had this company call me the last 2 months that I am to call them back by a recording for an important business matter at a different number and use an ext number ummm no thanks if you cant tell me who you are or what you want I am not calling back!!!
- toniJust rec'd yet another crap call from this "unknown" caller - didn't answer. Not too bad since the last time was Feb. However, I now have a list of 2-1/2 pages of these "unknown" callers and not one of them has been a valid call. What does the innocent public have to do to stop this harassment? The DNC does NOT work since it does not apply to calls originating from outside Canada.
- vickieHave had calls from this number for over a month up to 3 times a day. I do not answer due to previous comments. I live in Sask.
- John replies to pookado| 2 repliesBecause they try to get as much business as they can. They pay so much per month and it barely cost anything to call all through north America. I did some research on the internet on how you can minimize these types of phone call cause I live in Alberta Ca. and I used to receive call from Florida, Texas, Ontario and I feel a request with the "DO NOT CALL ME LIST" and it seems to slow down the traffic somewhat but it never stop them all. The only thing you can do is to report them and if they don't spot they can be fine but the caller and the Company in charge.
I'm only 48 yrs and I suffer from a non curable cancer so I need as much rest as I can but these buggers used to be calling 4 to 6 times a day needless to say that I was ot always nice with them.
Good luck..... - John replies to GeoffI just made a complaint through the "DOT NOT CALL ME LIST" and will see what they can do for me cause I am getting very piss at these people calling me at least 2 to 3 times a day or least until I answer my Phone and once I answer my phone it takes at least another 5 secondes before the person at the other end try to pronounce my name. It does not matter if you tell him or her not to call me anymore cause the day after someone else is calls me. I hope that this "Do not call me list" takes care of them. Once you register with them it takes about 31 days to become in effect. Of course them can't stop a

They also say that if they do not stop calling. The person calling and the Company behind this could be fined. So I just made my first complaint and I will see what going to happen with this. - EvI am from Alberta CA. This company calls us at least once a week. We do not answer the phone, so of course they leave the same old voice mail regarding debt-free garbage.
I too am registered with the do not call registry. The soliciting from certain companies has decreased, but definitely not from these Yahoos!- Caller: Credit Company
