Call every freakin day and I'm going nuts! How do I make them stop???!!!

It's time warner cable...telling you about changing the on screen channel guide. I just got a new cable box. I'm thinking that's the connection. They left a message.

They keep calling here with a recorded message. This has been going on for over a year. Sometimes they call 3-4 times a day.

So I called them to ask them to take this number off their list, as the company does not get service from them.

The customer service rep REFUSED to take the number out of the system, even after I told her that Xxxx, the person they were looking for did not work here and hadn't for more than 5 years. She said she'd have to check with Xxxx to see if it was okay to remove the number. (Since they're calling about past due bills, they are subject to FDCPA restrictions.)

I then informed her that they must, by law, comply with a "stop calling" request from a third party. I asked her several times and ways to stop calling here, but she said they wouldn't unless they could reach Xxxx and get permission to remove the number. Basically, she said that if they can't reach him through the other number, they'd keep calling here. Like it will do them any good.

ARRRRRGH!

I just received that call number on my phone and Time Warner was out here about 20 minutes ago.
However, know one answered the phone when I answered it.

I don't jut hang up on live or record robo calls.
Instead, I don't talk, and I lay the phone down for a few minutes; usually in less than five minutes, I pick it up and there's ' a busy signal. ; I figure I am wasting the system's times..a small victory, eh?

I think they tried hacking my phone. Don’t stay in the line or tell your phone company. They pretended to be spectrum internet

I’m pretty sure they tried hacking my phone. Asking weird questions as I tried getting spectrum internet. They asked who my phone company is and what Netflix shows I liked to watch

Oct 12, 2020  Unsolicited call.  I did not answer.  I never answer a call unless the number is in my contacts.  If you answer a spam call, then the spammer knows yours is a working number and they sell a list of working numbers to telemarketers.
