telemarketer asking for who handles phone service for this number.

Got a call from this #, heard someone chewing. I said "hello?" twice, to which the person on the line shouted "YES!", and then more chewing before they hung up.

Got a call from this number yesterday, obviously telemarketer, but I decided to listen anyway.  When it came down to it I asked for a quote on the service she was offering, but wanted to know the name of the company.  She said I'm calling on behalf of Verizon.  I told her that is NOT what I asked....she hung up on me.  Today a guy called from the same number.  Went thru the same routine.  He said the name of the co is actually Telecom Brokerage.  Told him that he should consider getting better service because he sounds like he's in a tunnel!  I would never order service from a company that has such terrible voice lines anyway!

Got a call from this number today and it was someone saying that they could save me money on my phone service.  Normally I hang up on telemarketers but i decided to listen.  To my surprise the rep on the other end was very professional and knowledgable.  They told me to fax over a copy of my phone bill which at first I was reluctant but decided to do so.  They sent me over a side by side comparison and to my surprise i switched.  I received my first phone bill the other day and everything they promised me was delivered.  I would HIGHLY recommend giving these guys a chance they really know what they're doing.

jUST CALLED THE NUMBER BACK - THEY SAID "THIS IS MATT MAY I HELP YOU" I SAID TAKE MY NUMBER OFF YOUR LIST. THEY SAID WHO IS THIS. I SAID TAKE MY NAME OFF YOUR LIST IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO I AM. THEY SAID OH REALLY IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU CAN SAVE MONEY, ETCC..... I SAID NO, RESPECT MY WISHES. GOOD BYE!

CALLED AGAIN - ASKED FOR ME BY NAME
I said I was not in - and then he said oh wait, that isn't who I want, oh wait yes it is is this her and I said I just told you she wasn't in. He said oh sorry to bother you can you be any ruder or something like that I told him not to call back you ignorant [***].

I get at least 4 calls a day from this number and nobody answers.  Today I have had at least 6 between 3:30 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. Mountain time today June 30, 2009.

just got a call from these people - asked if you get your bills directly from Verizon or is from a "re-biller" or something like that... then they asked me who my Internet provider was - and for some reason I played along and told them (it was also Verizon) and they abruptly hung up... not very professional.  

anybody heard of "slamming" - hope these folks don't do that to any of us - change our phone service without our permission - what is their story ? what are they trying to accomplish?

Too many calls

Just got a call from Scott asking if I wanted to switch to Verizon.  Told him no and told him to stop calling.  He told me that they would not stop calling.  I told him that the more they call the less likely I am to switch to Verizon. He said "Look Lady, I get paid either way, so don't care if you switch to Verizon."  What ever happened to the good old days when telemarketers got paid on commission.  Seriously.

I got a call from this number from a guy named jeff thinkin he was all that, he said he was gonna tweak my service...and make me screeeam for my phone service!!!!wtf is this world coming to? I run a small business,  from my home I see different clients daily for about an hour, a session, I just want this Jeff guy to call me again...he said he played with rubber dilly's daily and i like that.

I just received 3 calls from this number after hanging up on them because it was obviously a telemarketer.  The person named Violet was extremely rude and was demanding to know why I hung up.  Then when I asked what it was she was selling she hung up on me.

GOT A CALL FROM JERK NAMED TIM, HE CLAIMED HE WOULD SAVE ME MONEY AFTER I SAID I STILL WONT SWITCH HE SAYS,"FINE ILL KEEP CALLING YOU UNTIL UR PHONE BLOWS UP!!!" I BET HE HAS A SMALL WEENER!!!

Everytime I answer from this number they hang up and they call my office phone 4-5 times a day. When I call back it says voicemail is full.

They call my place of employment constantly.  They ask for Glen, when I say Glen who, they say Glen Burnie.  Sir, this is a town not a person, and they hang up, lol.

They called, their number popped up, I answered. I heard talking in the background, like a call center, but noone spoke one my line. They hung up after about 3 seconds.

Man asking for email information what even identifying himself or company. Got upset and nasty.
